- walittsan diego9 contributionsI loved this beach. They serve great drinks too. but beware -I got a bad case of swimmers itch otherwise known as jellyfish larvae stings or sea lice. A nasty itchy rash on your bum under your suit!! I was the only one in our party of 7 to break out so i must be allergic!Written June 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Y D6 contributionsMonkey mountain is a fun, NOT EASY hike with rewarding views of one side of the bay along the path and views of the entire bay at the top. We took my friends 80 year old mom with us after reading reviews that it was an easy hike? and we were not prepared for such a long uphill hike. . She turned back 2/3 of the way because it was more than she could handle. It is about 2-3 hrs round trip. You will walk at an incline the entire way up. The last section is walking on boulders, so you need to wear good tennis or hiking shoes. It is best to have a guide, because there are some forks on the path and it’s unclear which way to go. The views are absolutely beautiful and make the climb worth it. Just don’t expect it to be easy.
Take plenty of water, at least 2-3 bottles/pp and maybe a snack because of the length of the hike. And I think a picnic lunch would be fun on top of the mountain!Written January 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - ApucciarelliAllentown, PA247 contributionsWhen we first got to Sayulita beach, it was filled of surfers, and local artisans. We really LOVED the vibes and the beach water was more calmer than the one on the other coast. We were able to swim a little bit and explore the town with no issues. There are plenty of restrooms in the area and be sure to support local businesses.Written January 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- littlemomma_1955Puerto Vallarta, Mexico2,960 contributionsI decided to come before things get really crazy here in Sayulita during high season. The market happily has an entrance to ensure all attendees are wearing masks and temperatures are taken and a separate exit. All of the vendors were wearing masks and I felt very comfortable. Unfortunately that didn’t translate out to the streets.Written November 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Chel RogersonSayulita, Mexico37 contributionsThis beach is accessible with a short walk through the jungle, give yourself at least 2 hours to have time to enjoy and take it all in. I highly recommend Alejo’s tours because there are many paths and much flora and fauna to explore. Check out @ecohike for daily hikes.Written August 6, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Chetan P2 contributionsThe Rose Room is THE place to be in Sayulita!
This beautiful open air studio is upstairs from the Don Bonito hotel and located in what is (thankfully) probably the quietest area of town. I came wandering through Sayulita and decided to stay for 6 months mainly because i found Andrea - a truly phenomenal yoga teacher. I've had a dedicated yoga practice for many years and it's been a challenge to find teachers who meet my standards. Andrea brings not only finely tuned yogic skills to her classes but also a lot of joy and wisdom....Sometimes i arrive on the mat feeling strong and ready, sometimes i arrive feeling lazy and discombobulated but, EVERY TIME i leave - i find myself back in my center and grateful for my day. If you go to Sayulita don't miss checking her out!
And, on your way out - i highly suggest the cafe downstairs, the food is great and the staff are all super kind and lovely.Written June 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - housapastaSalt Lake City, UT5 contributionsOne of a kind pieces from a true artist. - Lars MNewtown, PA8 contributionsThe crew on Chica Locca is amazing, they go out of their way for everyon on the boat and do so from the moment you board to the moment you disembark. Your drin will never be empty and they even take care of you when you get off the boat to visit the sites. The stops were fun and kept the kids and adults entertained. Yelepa was a great stop and really enjoyed the beach there with great service from the restaurant there.Written June 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TravelWithJAVLos Angeles, CA1 contributionThe experience with Ally Cat Tours far exceeded my expectations and that of my family.
I texted Debi via WhatsApp from Los Angeles and asked her if I could call her. She was extremely helpful and generous with her time on the phone with me helping me plan my birthday trip to Islas Marietas and the famous Hidden Beach. Thank you again Debi.
The day of the trip, my family and I boarded the Fat Cat catamaran and met the crew lead by Christian, Jorge, Pablo, Roger, Anthony, Carlos, Boya and Edwin.
The service the crew provided for everyone on board was exceptional.
The trip to Islas Marietas and Hidden Beach is definitely a trip my family and I will never forget.
Thank you very much Ally Cat Tours.
And thank you to the wonderful crew that made our trip one for the ages!Written July 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Getaway6827092 contributionsMy parents (76 & 83) booked this adventure for our family of 13. We had an amazing breakfast to decide what we wanted to do, went hiking (for some, boat ride and swimming for others), enjoyed a lunch at a rest stop, shopping, saw some alligators and was delivered right back to the front door of the house we were renting. Jorge and Rene made sure that my parents made it up the hill to pride rock to be with the family, the kept the 6 year old twins entertained and had us all laughing and enjoying our entire trip. I can't thank them enough for making this trip so memorable. Thank you Jorge and Rene and continued success. I will be looking you guys up again in the future.Written June 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Chelsea BTucson, AZ2 contributionsEsteban and Brandon were fantastic!!! So much knowledge about the whales was shared. We saw a small family of whales and then stopped on the way back to hear the whales "singing". They were very accommodating in allowing our 2 year old to join. Thanks again!!! Highly recommend for a memorable experience that allows the whales to thrive in the ocean without being super disruptive.Written February 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SurfDad777 contributionsWe had a great experience with Mexitreks! We thought a hike would be a nice way to stretch our legs after the three hour plane flight and it turned out to be just perfect.

- Tina S2 contributionsEnjoyed my hike with Yan and Juan! They were awesome pointing out great restaurants to try and beach areas to visit on our way to the main hiking spot. They shared knowledge of the trees and the area while we were hiking and stayed at a pace that was comfortable for me. I would strongly recommend booking with WILD MEXICO AVENTURAS, if you plan to do a hike in the Sayulita, Mexico area!Written September 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
