- Review-er-er_erHouston, TX249 contributionsA nice walk through a smallish refuge. We saw a few interesting birds as well as an interesting lizard. Once more, no directionals on the trail though it was fairly self intuitive.
We didn’t note any available restrooms.

Others had said it was hard to find a night, we had no trouble. Our campsite, 16, was clean and level. We camped in a pop up camper. The site pad was just big enough for the camper and then it had a big drop off. I would recommend site 22 if camping there again. The campground sites have good seperation from each other. There are lots of palms and pine trees. One of the closest walking trails was also the disc golf course so we couldn't finsh our walk due to golfers. Other trails required driving to. We did play both disc golf courses. The larger one was challenging but fun, the smaller one is great for a quick short game of 9 baskets. A night we had many visits from the local raccoons. They are don't seem to be very scared of people and will come up right into your site even while you are sitting there. I suspect people have been feeding them. The did get into our garbage even though we were feet away. The kids enjoyed seeing them, but the got all over everything we left out at night and made a lot of noise. We did not leave any food or garbage out and I would recommend the same for anyone camping there. There is a train close by that we could hear at night. The campground itself is pleasant. - Will's Adventur... SDanville, IL7 contributionsThis was the first experience at a temple for our young sons, and they were enthralled. The monks were very friendly and welcoming, and the temple itself is lovely! They have free food on Sundays, I'd highly recommend a visit for that! Some really nice holes with water coming into play in a number of holes. #2 is a par 5 that you need to really lay up twice as you have to hit over water 2 times.. This shop has a terrific variety of fabrics: colors, patterns, solids, batiks, patriotic themes, and other themes. Wide selection of tools. Classes available. Frequent buyers accumulate a discount. My husbands comes with and enjoys it too. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. There are also plenty of games that you can play or try out with absolutely no pressure to buy. If you are interested in buying, the prices are competitive and they have a lot of variety. The staff isn’t super rude, but they aren’t making any effort to make a good impression. The lanes are okay, not great, and not worth the price when you consider the other bowling alley 15 minutes away.
Great place for a bunch off dudes to smoke, drink and bowl. It was a beautiful day on the river and I was so impressed with Captain Jeff's knowledge and history he shared. I now have a better appreciation of what is here on the Coast.
