The zoo is a fantastic place to visit, there are great animal talks from highly knowledgable staff, there are opportunities to interact with various animals with keeper supervision.

great location a wee walk from town along the river, easy access to most parts of the reserve, abundant wildlife, brilliant for photography.
Plenty of Parking and a great welcome from Jean in the Visitor centre who was both knowledgeable and informative.

just love this place, lots of fresh air walking and great if you are into wildlife, if you keep your eyes peeled you may see the king fisher.
Beautiful area with so many lovely walks, I’m walking my dog most days for at least 1 hour, but there are lots of different walks for as short or long as you want.
