We parked in the Tettegouche Visitor Center parking lot (free parking to access the nearby trails) and hiked the short distance to the High Falls trailhead under the bridge.
I drove to the parking lot at trailhead and started my hike to the High Falls and Two Step Falls which up and back was about a 2.5 mile hike.

Nice loop trail incorporating tour of lighthouse and grounds.
Other than that, it holds some of the most scenic views south of the Temperance River.

Hard to see when heading north on highway 61 but it's well worth the stop.

It is, in fact, a very picturesque lighthouse, incredibly well preserved, but the history behind it is fascinating as well and the historical society has done a great job in the presentation.
