Frosty was an AMAZING tour guide and the kids and adults had a lot of fun! It's the perfect length of time and includes a lot of fun and even a bit of learning.

Get there early as the parking lot fills up and the beach is covered with sun loving families, couples, singles and everyone wanting to enjoy beautiful Lake Michigan on the perfect white sand beach.
The beach is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and service focused, and the concession stand has a great variety of healthy and indulgent items to choose from for snacks, treats, or meals.

I was there for a concert, sat in the grass on a blanket, and enjoyed the surrounding beauty of the river and the trees and nature in general
We got off the shuttle bus after parking at the high school and sat in this park watching the boats go by.

Oval Beach is the lakefront go-to for many folks in the summer, but this quiet, somewhat off-the-beaten-path gem is just the place to go to read or relax.
This Lake Michigan beach is small but free and sits in a residential neighborhood.
