What travelers are saying
- Stardust86Belleville, MI260 contributionsWe frequent the center for their fantastic pool. Originally found out about them when doing research to get my little one into swim lessons. The rate they charge makes their lessons a better deal than any of the local swim schools (Aqua Tots, Goldfish) or the other Rec Centers near us. But then we just love the pool. We've been visiting for a few years now - done several sessions of swim classes - and my daughter loves the pool so much we just had her 5th birthday party here.
The lazy river is surprisingly long and relaxing, despite that the pool area doesn't seem huge. The hot tub is quite big. And my little one LOVES the indoor splash pad. She could play in it for hours.
All in all, definitely worth stopping in during open-swim hours (though the hours change, so you have to check their facebook page or website to find out when you can come by). Without membership I think its like $12 per person to just swim.
We would also recommend their pool rooms for birthday parties. I will say things felt a little unorganized, both when trying to book the party and when we first showed up to set up, but it wound up being a really fun time and the kids really loved the pool. Party package includes the use of the pool room (adjacent to the pool) and includes I think 15 swimming guests. Non-swimmers can hang out in the pool room, and you can bring in food & drink. Its a nice package.Written October 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I enjoy being there. The layout of this nursery and farm is very easy to navigate. Great wide aisles and plenty of merchandise. I was very pleased with the health of the plants that we were looking at. When I got the plants home and put them in the soil they established themselves quickly and maintained their vigor. They don’t seem to force the plants and that’s great. When a nursery does that when you get the great looking plant home you could find yourself with a sad, wilting plant the next day that you need to bring back to health.
Their displays are quaint, simple, well done and bring out the beauty and interest of what they are selling without overwhelming the shopper with price tag mania. If you have young children keep an eye on them. It is a working farm and therefore presents some of the hazards to be found at any farm.
The place is kept clean, it is well lit and has suitable parking. It is easy in and out of the parking lot, but watch for traffic, of course, because it’s a two lane road just outside.
Look for the great big stone sign on the corner and you can’t miss it!Written July 2, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They have a Virtual Line Queue, so you can wait in your car and stay warm on the colder nights until you receive a text that it is your turn to walk through the haunt. This is an up and coming haunt that gets better every year. The trail is dark and spooky at night. It's a family friendly haunt for everyone of all ages.Written October 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Darlene D1 contributionPlayed there recently and was totally confused by their scorecard--half green half blue and then a lot of the time they were no blue ones--asked about it and was told sometimes they do and sometimes they don't so really had no idea where us girls were to play from plus took 5-1/2 hrs to playWritten June 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KCPapaKansas City, MO104 contributionsWhile our plane was delayed over 4 hours the experience with Ken and Dawn at the Concourse A were FANTASTIC. These two are the epitome of what Delta wants from its team. They were very courteous, professional and friendly. They made a delay much easier to deal with. If in Detroit...Go to Sky Club in Concourse A and ask for the "King and Queen" these two were the best!Written December 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
