The day use area of this state park features spectacular scenery, a great beach, and some very nice hiking trails. On this visit, we parked at the small parking area along M-25 and walked in across the old bridge. Beautiful area.

Lots of quality vendors with beautiful fresh produce! Delicious artisan breads and maple syrups! We especially appreciated the live music.

My first time in Port Austin and I love it. Beautiful weather in August when we visited. Beautiful Harbor, we walked along the pier and enjoyed the water and shoreline view. Nice little beach and park on Lake Huron. Good rest room facilities. Port Austin is a great place to visit.

The tour of this lighthouse was one of the main reasons we visited Port Austin. And it did not disappoint! The guides were knowledgeable and very friendly, several of them had been involved in the gradual renovation of this landmark for decades. And we had the opportunity to climb all of the way up to the top of this lighthouse for amazing views of the shoreline and the lake. Not to be missed if you are a fan of lighthouses!

Very nice trails, with informative signs and a trail map. The trails transit several different types of environments, and, while it was quiet on an August afternoon, I would imagine that it would be busy with bird life on a spring morning.

I love visiting local historic centers and museums simply because it is amazing what you can find in them and the dedicated people who keep them open and running. There was a quilt show going on and there were some stunning works of art. Behind some of those were displays of a beautiful 1943 wedding dress, information about the great fire, photos of old high school graduating classes in the 1930s, etc. Quick drive out of Port Austin with a nice setting.

Nice little park. Playground, covered picnic areas, nice bathrooms with one shower. Great RV/Camping park, great beach access, bouy markers for swimming only areas. Watercraft not too prominent. Pavilion and cooking grills available. Small play area for kids.

This is a nice place to rent kayaks if you are looking to see Tunip rock and the shore line area. Online reservations are easy and the process of picking up the kayaks is also simple. No need for any guide, very easy to find the rock formation. 4 hours is plenty of time to see everything and take breaks.

Kerm and Chris are absolutely amazing! It was my first time fishing and I cannot wait to get back out there! They really know what they are doing and it’s their passion and it shows! We caught some great fish and they were tasty too!

Could not have been better! Ready on time, Friendly, inviting, clan boat, very professional and expert fishing technique. The lake and weather were beautiful and we caught a lot of fish (14 between 4 of us!) Salmon, Steelhead, Lake trout, and Walleye.
This was my wife and my fist experience and it was great. We will be doing it again. My brother and sister-in-law have done charters in Florida, Mexico, Hawaii and Michigan and they tell me it does not get better than this!

Very unique & interesting art gallery just outside of Port Austin.
The church is beautiful. Took couple years to redo. Look at the photo book of before & after. Very unique & beautiful items from the 24 different artists. Everything is nicely displayed.
Worth the trip .... explore & then go across the street for ice cream.

We tried this place without scheduling a tee time. As we are at the end of the season there was no problem playing a 9-hole without a tee time. We also could have played 18 but since I am beginner I did wanted to play the 9-hole only.
The staff was friendly but there was no beer cart available, so you had to pull pops out of a machine.
We also did not try the food so I cannot make any comments on this.
Overall we liked that place and would recommend to go there.
