Our family really enjoyed this orchard. It was the right size, and not crowded. A bunch of pumpkins to select and purchase, fun photo cutouts, livestock animals you can feed, pits full of corn instead of sand for the kids to play in, hayrides, and of course cider, donuts, pies and treats. The cider and donuts weren't exactly cheap, but they were comparably priced to other cider mills we have visited. Live music inside also added to the fun. Overall, it was an inexpensive trip for a family that included my wife, mother in law, 3 year old and 1 month old. Only recommendation I have is maybe a small playground or place for the kids to jump around, and maybe some hard cider for the parents. But the convenience and simplicity of this place was a real plus.

The Plymouth Historical Museum is a must-do for history buffs and those who enjoy viewing artifacts of past times in Michigan and American history. While local in its focus, this 26,000 square foot museum also includes "the largest exhibited Abraham Lincoln collection in Michigan". More details below.

The museum has three main sections:

    1) "Main Street" -- This area contains a late 1800's reproduction of Plymouth's Main Street, with many artifacts on view in the various reconstructed shops that line the area. Located on the upper floor of the museum, this area also includes a seasonal display that changes three times a year. A Museum Shop is on this upper floor with a good selection of interesting items.

Nearby this area is a large display of Daisy Air Rifles and related memorabilia. The Daisy Manufacturing Company, producer of the famous "Red Ryder" BB gun, was headquartered in Plymouth from the late 1800's until 1958, when it moved its headquarters and manufacturing facility to Rogers, Arkansas. Be sure to read the storyboard about the company's history. As I write this, it's not clear to me whether this Daisy display is permanent or part of the area that changes seasonally.

    2) Timeline of Plymouth. This area, on the lower floor, starts with a small display recognizing the original Erie tribe of Native Americans who lived in SE Michigan and progresses through displays and vignettes to the era of the 1950's. Lots of artifacts and memorabilia from times gone by in this part of the museum. Another Daisy Air Rifle collection is found in this area. Of interest, too, is an Alter motor car, the only one still in existence, the 75th of only 1,000 built in Plymouth by this short-lived car company (1914 -1917).

    3) The Lincoln Collection. This was the personal collection of Dr. Walter Petz, who bequeathed the collection to the museum upon his passing. Lots of interesting photos, drawings and artifacts here, including young Abraham's first book, a dictionary given to him by his mother.

For those interested in in-depth research, the museum houses an archive that can be accessed when the museum archivist is present. Best to call ahead to confirm availability.

On the outside of the museum is a CSX Railroad caboose, donated to the museum in 2019.

Museum days/hours are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $7 Adults, $3 Students (6-17).

While this museum is well worth going to, it could use more emphasis/information about early settlers and important figures who were instrumental in Plymouth's founding and growth. Guides are available to help direct your tour or you may just wander as you see fit. Recommended!

Enjoy half off pizza on Wednesday. The pizza is just ok. Sauce is boring. Service is good. Salads are great.

A wonderful parish! We were visiting town in January 2017 and visited for Divine Liturgy and were warmly welcomed by parishioners and the priest. Love the traditional liturgy, great priest, highly recommend the parish! A little background: the Melkite Catholic Church is oldest Church in the world, with St. Peter being the first bishop before he journeyed to Rome! Tradition comes alive here! All Catholics and Orthodox are welcome to receive the Eucharist.

Enjoying a Friday afternoon, I chose Fox Hills to relax.

The team members at Fox Hills are top shelf. From the pro shop to the grill, they know how to take care of their customers.

I can't wait to get back.

St. John's has it all: golf, restaurants, hotel, conference center and chapel.
We've played golf here many times on their 27 hole course. A nice course, surprisingly scenic in many spots considering it is in a built up area.
Recently we've been to a religious event in their impressive chapel. A truly inspiring setting. It's not only religious groups that use the facilities as many local businesses use the conference center for meetings and gatherings. A first class venue that Plymouth can be proud of.

One of my friends told me about this place and we had a group go there to celebrate a birthday. It was a little crowded, but comfortable enough. Our waitress was great, handled everyone's orders without error. The little order forms you fill out for your burger are perfect, makes it easy for a first-time visitor to see what's going on. The burger was delicious, nachos were good and everyone had a good time. Not sure what it's like the rest of the week, but I sure enjoyed Tuesday. I'll definitely go back.

This company contributes to their community. They donated the service of a limo to a fundraiser, and I won! We used the limo to go out for my husband's 70th birthday. I decided to use them for a recent vacation for my sisters, brothers-in-law, my husband and myself. We went to Detroit Metro Airport on the way to Disney World. We were picked up on time at each of the three places on a party bus! We were also picked up and taken home from Metro Airport. Friendly, courteous service, and I would use this service again.

Glad to find a place like this in a small town. We love board gaming and wish more of these establishments existed. The employee was quite helpful, but we were just a little disappointed with the selection of strategy/medium weight games. However if you love party or kids games, you could literally spend days here playing all of them!

Earth Lore is a wonderful store for those that like metaphysical stuff. They have Feng Shui stuff, too. Exquisite jewelry, a great selection of stones for all purposes, incense, candles, and crystals of varying sizes and shapes. If you go there, and have an interest in these sorts of things, you should be able to find something for your spiritual and metaphysical needs.

This is no longer a driving range. It's a chipping range. It's a shame that some unneeded offices are built next to a driving range and are then shocked when balls come over. The office buildings (or whatever they are) should offer to build taller nets.

We've played golf here, as well as many other courses, for over twenty years. The first nine holes which I think are prettier remind me of a course up north with its heavy woods and numerous steep hills. I am a high handicapper and this course suits me fine. The course has always had reasonable greens fees. New managers are in charge now and I wish them well.

I was looking for sonnet n to do while staying in Canton and bored. this came up and I decided it was better than another night with HBO.
    lots of fun.
the instructor was friendly, three other painters had a great sense of humor, and the downtown Plymouth area is exactly what I was in the mood for. Think quaint village but upscale.
ooh, and they let me bring my own chocolate milk.
