My husband and I arrived two hours before closing, and I was a bit concerned that there wouldn't be enough time for the visit to be thoroughly enjoyable. However, two hours was plenty of time to tour the grounds and see so much serenity and beauty. We didn't have time to visit the forest side of the gardens. If we lived near Midland, I would buy a season pass and spend a great deal of time here during every season.

This place is simply beautiful. This structure consist of 3 connecting bridges over the river. There are parks located around The Tridge. Lots of picnic areas and play areas. Plenty of free parking and walking paths.

We rode our bikes from the Tridge to the nature center, about 4 miles one way. Be aware - no pets allowed on the Chippewa trail or nature center grounds. Trail was scenic and winding, leading to the modern nature center with restrooms, water stations and lots of nature displays. A worthwhile visit.

Lots of room to roam for kids who hate to be tied down in their seats. Beer selection was very good. The game was great with a number of home runs.

Each Wednesday and Saturday Midland has a Farmer’s Market in a nice area just off the downtown area. We decided to go even though we knew that there wouldn’t be much in the way of produce. And there wasn’t. Just off the parking area were several food trucks, several serving BBQ. A number of booths with summer plants. And a few booths selling produce. There was one selling cheese. We tasted a sample and were hooked. We bought two pieces (expensive, about $24). We looked around for something else to buy. But found little. However, our friend spied a booth selling white-fish dip and bought some for our Happy Hour. Even though there weren’t many ‘farmers’ selling produce, it was fun.

Th dahlias were just coming into bloom when we visited. So many different colors and varieties. Most were labelled. Obviously, a work of love by the volunteers.

Great area in the middle of a large city! "Hiked" the mountain biking trails south loop and part of the north loop. Clocked Scott 6 miles, staying at the north area Monroe Street. Port-a-potties at the parking lot in the north end. Take are well marked, and rated "moderate" for the rocks, roots, and curves.

Excellent playground—our kids loved it! The design is creative and unique, and it is generally good for younger and older kids. Definitely worth visiting!

What a gem this park is! Lots of space. Lots of playground equipment. Lots of picnic shelters with charcoal grills. We attended a picnic for about 50-60 people. The kids had a great time running around and just being kids while the parents could keep an eye on them, but not worry they would be in traffic. Located along the river and adjacent to the rail trail.

We started on our bikes in Coleman. Read the sign by the big sun sculpture and started down the trail. Before long, my husband told me I had just blown by Mercury, Venus and Earth -- they were much closer that I imagined! But it's 5.5+ miles to reach Pluto. Amazed and delighted!

The city just went through and cleared a bunch of ash trees out this summer and the park looks very different. It was a safety issue and understandably so as to the reasoning to clearing the trees. But the park is still beautiful and one of the city's gems in our park system.

Loved seeing the old pictures and memories of our local history. Beautiful museum and very nicely laid out. Cool to see the old pictures of people you knew or worked with.

The only stores open in this modest and small mall are the stores that have doors leading to the outside like giant Tiger. Other than this than the mall is closed untl further notice until this international focused viris crisis is completely open. FYI Giant Tiger is also practicing health safety mesures as well. E.g. Public washroon is closed.

The best taxi service you can find. Quality service. Awesome conversation. I called to get a taxi super early in a remote location with hardly any service. This gentleman was at my location within no time and got me safely to my destination much quicker than expected. The cute little dog copilot was a great added bonus. Would absolutely recommend !!!
