Presque Isle Park
#1 of 27 things to do in Marquette
The weather was perfect, an unusual balmy 56 sunny degrees in February with enough sufficient snow on the ground for families with young children to be out snowshoeing, as well as joggers running the path.
The whole family did it - 17 & 15 yr old boys and a 10 yr old daughter - even Mom & Dad! Really cool and safe jump from about 20 feet into the crystal clear (and refreshingly chilly) Lake Superior waters near Marq...

Jilbert Dairy

We had experienced Jilbert's ice cream several times in the UP, so when I was looking for a place for ice cream on a lovely Saturday in Marquette, my children were delighted that we could go to the Jilbert's factory.
The ice cream is great, the staff is friendly, and our children love to visit by the big cow outside.
