- Cassidy117 contributionsI've been coming to this zoo my entire life and it has done nothing but get better and have better facilities. The ONLY reason that it's a 4-star zoo is that if you are a non-resident, it's $14 for an adult ticket and there isn't many animals out at the moment. It's maybe a two hour excursion maximum, although nice. Sometimes parking is free, sometime they have fun events! Definitely worth the visit.Written May 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AndyB5542Minneapolis, MN3,744 contributionsWe took one of the early tours, and we’re the only ones. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. We got to see the chambers of the Representatives, the Governor’s ceremonial office and the old Supreme Court chamber.
The art on all of the walls is well worth the trip.Written June 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Darin HWaterford, MI233 contributionsThere is a lot to see here. Everything from old prehistory up to 1970+. The mining part was very interesting and was an entire floor of information.
Very good museum. The $8 price was very fair for everything that is there. We went on a Saturday and it was empty with maybe 1 or 2 other couples there. But - it is FREE on Sunday and they said it is a lot more crowded. So keep that in mind.Written May 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Jennifer W41 contributionsTook our 5 year old grandson and 15 month old grandson. The older boy had a wonderful time. He explored everything and we had to pull him away when we had to leave for dinner. The baby enjoyed it too, but obviously didn't know what was going on. Highly recommend it for children. And, during these COVID times, they had buckets to put the pieces you touch in a bucket to be sanitized and had hand sanitizers scattered around the exhibits.Written August 1, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Diane BFairview Heights, IL330 contributionsThis is a small, unairconditioned building, so if it's hot outside, it is a bit uncomfortable. R.E. Olds was ahead of his time with his ideas on making cars. There are some neat autos here, but you mostly learn about Olds and his ideas for making a good car.Written June 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Holli DUnited States247 contributionsThe captain is a funny guy, telling stories and keeping his patrons happy. An easy cruise up and down the river. We were there for a buffet with a company and it was very good. They have a small bar and I understand some cruises feature live music. Relaxing to sit anywhere on the deck with a drink. I would go for an event for sure.Written November 17, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Bryan M12 contributionsRode this trail in May 2022 and had a great time. Paved and in good condition. The ride through the campus was very nice as well as the southern part of the trailWritten June 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- sevco1Lansing, MI92 contributionsOld Town is a collection of bars, restaurants and specialty shops on the north side of Lansing just south and east of the airport centered at the intersection of Caesar Chavez and Turner street. Some of the best restaurants in Lansing are located here. The specialty store seem a little forced but hey if they can make a buck more power to them. The whole Old Town area is clean, safe, well maintained, well lit at night and has a really fun atmosphere. I like window shopping at Elderly Instruments and visiting Breinke fish ladder. Dining at Sir Pizza and looking out the window at the river flowing by is an incredibly refreshing and relaxing experience. Preuss Pets pet store is filled with exotic animals and fish. The stores decorations are worth a visit alone. The staff is wonderful as are the customers. Golden Harvest Restaurant on the north end serves the finest breakfast food on the planet. Olympic Broil just up the road will sell you a burger and fries that you will remember for many hours. Cross the bridge going north on Larch Street and Old Town disappears in about a hundred feet. It is like an alternate universe that you need to seek out to find and even notice. Once you discover Old Town and its charm you will return often.Written February 15, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Devon BLansing, MI213 contributionsA quick walk to get out in Nature it takes less than 1/2 an hour to see the grounds. Lots of kids and dogs . I would say more of a local spot than tourist spot. However it was in Covid so it could be more lively during normal times.Written October 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- happygardener2016Romeo, MI70 contributionsThis is a nice antique mall. Very large, takes about 3 hours or more to get through. A large selection of items for everyone. The first few aisles are all locked cabinets, but someone is available to unlock so you can look at an item. Lots of collectibles, matchbox cars, glass ware. My friend and I didn't get through the whole mall. I don't know if someone sprayed perfume or bad air freshener in the back of the store, it was so strong I couldn't go back to the rear area of the store. But otherwise, it was a nice store.Written December 2, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- EballorLansing, MI3 contributionsSuch a GREAT park with offerings for anyone -- fishing, swimming, public restrooms, jungle gyms, swings, etc. It's a large park with very well kept grounds. One of my favorites for sure!Written June 20, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
