I would highly recommend the Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. A must see if you're traveling to or through Grand Rapids. Plan on 2-3 hours to see everything. As a side note, we dined at Rose's Restaurant on the lake.

This museum is not overly crowded and can be explored at your own pace. I enjoyed learning about his childhood including his years as an Eagle Scout and the challenges facing the country during Ford’s presidency.

I love museums, and this was brilliant to visit! Something I feel for everyone. I am from the UK, so I really enjoyed the part about the old side of Grand Rapids

This is the current main feature at the Gardens. It is huge! you can walk right up to it as well and get amazing photos.
It is worth the price of admission on it's own.

Went here to see "The Van Andel Scramble" featuring the Billy Strings band and a host of guest performers. The show was great, but the venue was pretty nice too. It was modern and looks to be a relatively newer facility. The seats were fairly comfortable. Bathrooms were pretty decent, considering the sellout crowd. A good venue to see an arena-style concert.

This museum is probably one of the best art museums I have visited in the USA. The diversity of the displays caters for all tastes. My favourite gallery was the Mario Moore: Revolutionary Times.

Without a doubt - the neatest, most organized farmer's market I have ever visited. Great choices of produce, plus some other stands (wood products, candles, etc.) The prices were very good. The displays were outstanding. Wish we had one like this where I live.

We stayed in a b and b in this area. Great varied architecture and lovely neighborhood. Great to walk or drive around this area. Some of the houses were originally built by wealthy families like the Leonard’s who made refrigerators.

We went for a walk on the day before Labor Day, a cooler day from the day before. It’s always a nice walk in the woods, with a few ponds to add interest. It’s a great place to visit, if you are a nature lover like me! Can’t wait to go back!

This place was really neat! My boys ages 5 and 7 really enjoyed themselves. A lot of hands on and would recommend at least a couple hours. Parking was not fabulous. Hard to find a place in the street.
