- Carie501Knoxville365 contributionsThe Frederik Meijer Gardens are amazing and de Vinci's Horse is nothing short of awesome. The Gardens have so much to offer and you need the day to see it all...the gardens and the sculpture park...and if you time it right, you might even get in on a free outdoor concert!Written December 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HappygoluckyangLansing, MI208 contributionsWe went here for Monster Jam. There were a lot of people, but it was amazing how quickly they shuffled people in. I was misled that no bag bigger than a clutch, but there were quite a few people with large bags. They just had to get them looked at, which is different than no bags. And every single usher we came across was SO delightful! They greeted you, pointed out your seat, chatted for a minute and even offered to take our picture without asking. The staff was phenomenal! Makes this experience even better!Written March 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Mi.Flower-ChildGrand Rapids, MI235 contributionsWe went for a walk on the day before Labor Day, a cooler day from the day before. It’s always a nice walk in the woods, with a few ponds to add interest. It’s a great place to visit, if you are a nature lover like me! Can’t wait to go back!Written April 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Kaye NProvo, UT2,160 contributionsI love it when people have a vision that not only saves wildlife and habitat, it provides an interesting view of both. This is a very cool idea to help fish work their way upstream. I saw fish using it to get to higher levels but I wasn't sure how they got out of the final outlet. It was a bit clogged with trash and other debris. I wonder when it gets cleaned out.
Several people who are locals told me the city plans to get rid of it and they were upset about that. I don't know the whole story so I don't have an opinion. I just know it was interesting to see how it currently helps the fish.Written June 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A resident Great Horned Owl (deep-voiced male) was calling for a mate, so the leaders directed us silently and stealthily out to the starlit patio for a listen before the indoor part of the program began. We got to hear recordings of the three most frequent owls around (west) Michigan: the tiny Eastern Screech, the middle-weight Barred, and the big one, the Great Horned Owl (not counting the massive Snowy Owls that sometimes pass through). After some Q and A, half the group was led by S. for a close-up talk with the injured, sheltered owls of the Center. The other half was led by L. into the starry night woods on the wide trail to call for the owls. Later the group visited the outdoor residential spaces for the bobcat, for the albino mink, and for the (endangered) Barn Owl with its snakey neck movement and white face and front. So much owling tonight, so close-up! What a rare opportunity to learn this part of our world that mostly is unseen and unsearched.Written January 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - aatbenderDandridge, TN468 contributionsWe miss a good farmer’s market and this place was top notch. So many vendors, such a nice variety, very high quality, in a swanky new venue. We would come every week if we didn’t live in Tennessee. Keep up the great work!Written August 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
