The team at Gibbet Hill created a fairytale wedding for our daughter. They thought of every detail. They provided an outstanding wedding planner for us who thought of everything. Even the bridal suite was luxurious, complete with cheese plates and champagne awaiting the bride and her attendants!
Our daughter was married up on the Top of the Hill at the castle ruins, which could not have been more magical. The staff at Gibbet Hill transported all our guests up the hill and facilitated the procession seamlessly so that the brides did not see each other until that moment when bride #2 walked down the aisle.
The food was outstanding. Gibbet Hill gave the newlyweds an anniversary gift- their first anniversary dinner is complimentary! I imagine they will want to return every year, if not more often!

Gibbet Hill provided us with an excellent vendor list which included our florist (Kerianne Nelson Flora) who transformed the ruins into a dreamscape and the barn and dining tables into an elegant fantasy space. Their vendor list also included our cake baker (Alice Lombardi at Bean Counter) who made a gorgeous and delicious cake which Kerianne Nelson Flora topped with fresh flowers.
Thank you, Gibbet Hill, for such a magical wedding in every way!! We will remember it always.

Molly the Australian Shepherd greeted us as we arrived and we were met by Mr Sullivan The tour of the farm is was short but free and worth the drive. Alpacas are gentle and so soft! The shearing happens usually in May and the wool then goes to the New England Alpaca Fiber pool to be turned into some great items available in their store. Hats, scarves, gloves shawls and great Socks! Sales at their small store helps support the farm. A lovely afternoon in the fresh air.
Will make another trip here in the fall as I’m sure the surrounding area will be spectacular.

Fairly easy and short hike uphill to gorgeous stone castle ruins with beautiful views. Definitely a must redo in autumn when the leaves change.

On a warm September weekend, we visited this orchard and were delighted with the experience. The owner explained the orchard set up. She was friendly and helpful. We wandered the orchard to delight in these mostly very old and productive trees. The views were absolutely spectacular! We picked easily from the raspberry vines. What a wonderful place.

Nice Audubon wildlife refuge. Small parking area with steep incline into entry. Take care not to bottom out. Trails are well marked. It was buggy and wet from all the recent rains. Would recommend bug repellent. Hiking is not strenuous but rocky in spots. There are about 3 miles of trails leading to vernal pools, beaver lodge and woodlands. It was very quiet when we were there. Nice place to watch birds.

If you are looking for a relaxing time this is the thing to do. They have great prices and provide you with all the equipment to be safe. They are really nice people. Just try to get there to enjoy the day as you will want to stay out longer than you plan. It's fun and relaxing.
