We had a lovely visit enjoying the birds, watching the Osprey nest and my sons favorite is the lower level fish tanks. We have to walk out side to get his wheelchair down there. We can’t do any of the nature walks because wheelchairs don’t do well on the gravel they have. But I got him into the butterfly house and within seconds he had butterflies land on his hand and wheelchair. That was enchanting, as were the lovely ladies who chatted with us. I am very grateful for any degree of accessibility on Cape Cod, it has not been historically the most wheelchair friendly place. So when people are kind and go out of their way to help, I am grateful. I will be doing a video and podcast episode about this museum soon. Thank you Cape Cod Museum of Natural History!

Bring the kids, bring yourself, bring your bikes and bring your beach equipment or just camp out. We went to bike and found the beach areas: very pristine and calm. Bike path leads to rail trail. Lots of fun for an entire family.

This was a fun experience, but we observed surprisingly little activity - one live crab and one fish burying itself in the sand. There were lots of interesting small rocks, though, and things to check out that were either clinging to the large rocks or were washed up on the shore. Amazing how huge the (relatively) dry area is at low tide. They say these are the largest tidal flats in the US.

Beautiful clean sand and water. Ample parking and a lovely spot to watch the sunset. Friendly folk in a picturesque setting and not crowded. A lovely spot.

This beach is great for kids. The beach itself that the parking area, which is quite small, is adjacent to is actually on the outflow of the creek. As my daughter said, this isn't a traditional beach where you are facing the ocean. And the beach area is on the small side as well, but with the tide out offers plenty of space for everyone, yes you can social distance.
There are tons of hermit crabs, larger crabs, minnows, etc. for kids to chase. Also, as tide goes out you can walk the outflow to the ocean (Cape Cod Bay) and continue walking for a LONG way.
Little to no waves, lots of tide pools, soft sand, and cool water.
No shade here at all, bring a tent or umbrella.
Arrive early or you won't get to park. I would say 9:30 in peak season. We did that on a weekday in August and got the last spot!
Pay for parking online. Google the Brewster beaches for a link. People were getting ticketed while we were there. Fine is $40, parking pass is $20 + $1.50 processing fee online. Can be done in the parking lot so you know you got a spot before paying.
This was our second favorite beach in Cape Cod so definitely check it out.

This was a bonus historical find in the back of the neighborhood right off 6A. So fascinating to see how things worked historically.

My mother and I visited the Sydenstricker Gallery in March of 2022. We were looking for a Bridal Shower gift that would remind my nephew of his visits to Cape Cod. I have some Sydenstricker pieces and love them, Hannah took us on a personal tour of the collection and explained about the new colorful patterns and techniques for celebrity art. She made us feel excited about just being there! We really enjoyed the time!

Visited the Garden Club's holiday show at the Crosby Mansion. We've visited flower shows at the mansion before, but never at Christmas time. Each and every room was meticulously and beautifully decorated. It was well worth the admission fee and the free, with admission, cider and cookies were a wonderful treat.

We attended the Cape Rep production of Noises Off tonight. Fabulous. This outdoor theatre is small, intimate, but great. The cast were ALL perfect in their rolls and performances were flawless. The production was excellant - a difficult task in a tight setting like this and in this production which requires major shifts in staging. We've seen the same show in a much largertheater, but this production was superior. The outdoor stage ( they also have an indoor stage I understand) is set out in the woods, in a nice quiet setting. Slight amphatheater setting, with limited seting. The stage is small, but they did an excellant job. and all the seats are very close to the stage. I was very impressed. We will definately be watching their schedule for the next production we can attend. A++.

Many travelers miss the libraries of the places they visit, and in my experience, they are some of the best places to see! This library was a savior for me during wet and windy weather while visiting Brewster. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and even as a visitor I could get a library card (no fee) and check out DVD's (their DVD collection is massive and there is no fee). They also had a jigsaw table which was a delight! Although the big book sale wasn't happening, they did have a good assortment of books for sale on a bookshelf near the front desk. I also noticed a huge children's room with books and activities. Hats off to Brewster Ladies' Library for providing such a thoroughly enjoyable library experience to locals and visitors alike.

Nice windmill village and playground for the kids, plus a huge gazebo. Walking path around the park is easy. Was hoping for a path to the bay....we went down one path off of the one around the park, but it seemed to dead-end in marshy stalks with no clearly marked path, so we turned around.

Breathtaking! Enchanting! Fantasy! Love China? Collect tea cups? Stemware? Love all that’s trimmed in gold and appreciate beautiful artful displays? Then you must make time on your vacay to Cape Cod to visit this shop.
Ps, the proprietors are absolutely part of the experience! We had a fabulous visit!

We tried this beach because there is a larger lot than some of the others. It’s rocky for a bit when the tide is out, but there are lots of sea creatures to find as a result. Not our fav, but it was worth a morning. Many people go clamming there and indeed we found a giant live clam in the water, along with hermit crabs, ans bunches of rock crabs

Pottery shop has really nice stuff. Told the woman there that when I win the lottery and buy a house on the Cape I'm coming back to buy all my dishes.

I learn enriching info upon each visit (a handful so far). Met a lovely couple during coffee hour after services. They may become new friends. Music adds a strong positive dimension. Only gripe is with amplification via a mic and sound system. Acoustics are excellent, electronics not needed. Hearing-impaired wear sound-assist devices, so why does "amp up" become the norm? Met some kind parishioners ... It's a "we'll-see."
Oh, one opening is absent: there's no "sharing time" for individuals to speak during services, a puzzlement.
