    Lilacs in bloom
    Great location to stop and smell the lilacs. Amazing number of different Hostas and very peaceful grounds make for a quiet moment. No cost to walk the garden and lots of plants for sale.

    Great Hike
    This is a very steep hike, but not too long. The first 1/4 or 1/3 is in the woods and then you reach the rocks. Be careful on the way down on the rocks that you follow the path that you came up, especially taking the turns needed. I hike this trail a few times a year, but I started going down the wrong way once and had to retrace back up! But this is my favorite hike around me.

    Fun and Friendly
    Six of us went to bowl out of the blue and had a great time. There was plenty of room, the bowling, food and beer prices were all very reasonable and the gentleman who owns the lanes could not have been nicer. It was a bit of a slow night, so he even came over and, when asked, showed us 'newcomers' to candlepins how it was done! We will definitely be back - candlepins are definitely challenging but we liked it because the discrepency between men and women is minimized. Try it - you'll enjoy it!
