Unfortunately, our timing was off by a few days since the Andrew Wyeth exhibit was starting 3 days later. However, we enjoyed the museum very much. Many good displays and exhibits here about the lights themselves, the lighthouse keepers and the history of them. There is a small fee then you look at your own pace. There is a small gift shop attached as well. Parking was difficult and we ended up parking two blocks up the street and walking down. Captain Sharp was incredibly knowledgeable and the wealth of information present in both the free guide and the placards made this a very enriching experience. Grandson had his 4th birthday here and many of his guests had never been there. This is a great stop when visiting downtown Rockland.
