Accessed by different points in Ogunquit, this walkway by the ocean offers an absolutely beautiful view. There are benches but little shade, so walking with a hat and bottle of water might be helpful. Marginal Way extends from the charming Perkins Cove, with restaurants and shops, and is a scenic alternative to walking through town. It is what we love most about Ogunquit.

Perkins Cove is a nice area at the end of the Marginal Way. One may drive down to the cove as well. There are shops and restaurants along the water and a lovely foot bridge.

The Marginal Way is always a great walk to Perkins Pier. Great views of the ocean and multi- million dollar homes. Great restaurants and shopping.

Very nice, very old theater with a great tradition, it comes with some challenges. Parking is well organized, but very tight. The seating is not tiered very well, so it's hard to see over or around the people in front of you. But all of that is easy to forget when you consider the memories this place has. There are not many theaters around like this anymore, and that's the enjoyable part. It's well worth a night to enjoy this Maine gem.

Ogunquit Museum of American Art has beautiful grounds along the coast. The docents are friendly and willing to share their knowledge of the art on display. The sculptures in the gardens are interesting. The view from the window upon entering the museum is spectacular! The museum is a great way to spend a couple hours when in the area.

Visiting during the last week of July, we went to Ogunquit beach. The beach is large. Quite busy in the mornings. The water is cold as usual, but the waves are nice. It's so relaxing whether you are sitting on the beach or enjoying the water. Perfect place for families. There are nice bathroom facilities and a place to wash off the sand. If you need any food there is a couple of restaurants and places to eat ice cream, hot dogs, etc.

The beach is crowded; some days it's nice to arrive around 2 pm.

Really really really great lobsters, clams and mussels. Very welcoming. We have been coming here for years and this place never strays from being a treasure.

This little library gives you the feeling of stepping back in time! Since we were only staying a couple of days, we didn't borrow any books but they had quite a few books for sale at a good price. Worth stopping in while strolling through town.

The food here is not rated under restaurants oddly- because it’s incredibly good!! We had Mussels, Shishito peppers, Caesar salad, oysters and all were really well prepared - the chef is one of the best around! Very unique recipes;). Good bar too!

Great nostalgic spot, new owners same feel. Very friendly and have a little something for everyone. The owner struck up a conversation w my daughter about school, she is heading off to Syracuse for environmental engineering and they had a wonderful 5-10 minute conversation, with my daughter leaving with a huge smile on her face, beautiful ornaments and great stuffed animals that are made from 100% recyclables.

    Can't wait to go back.

This was our first visit to Maine with our 12 year-old dog - a 17 hour car trip which involved a whole lot of really good behavior in not great situations on her part so we wanted to give her a break - my husband found this dog park on the web and we and she were so happy we found it! Lovely park, very well maintained, super friendly people who kept an eye on their dogs.

This place truly is a gift - if you're visiting the area and have your dog with you, go - your dog will not be disappointed!

Last time we went to this antique shop was nine years ago. We felt that it has managed to maintain about the same level of merchandise - still lots to look at and interesting items to buy. Better than most shops we visited in the area. Convenient parking too which is important in Ogunquit.

When you tire of the beach, take a step back in time by visiting the Ogunquit Heritage Museum, just a short walk off Shore Road. The museum is located in a house built in 1780 and offers different displays including items used by lobster men, changing exhibits about people from Ogunquit in a restored house with original wide board floors and plaster walls.
