What travelers are saying
- Pellbee77Westfield35 contributionsThis walking path is one of the more beautiful ones out there. It’s not necessarily peaceful because so many people are walking it, but so many great views. Numerous benches are along the Way which is great if any in your group aren’t super mobile…Written September 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Glenn LMilford, CT83 contributionsIt’s so New England. Shops, restaurants, flower-lined properties, and boat-filled cove with walkable bridge. Stores have both touristy souvenirs and high-quality home goods. Such a cool pace, it’s a must visit if you’re staying in the general Ogunquit area or it’s a great stop if you’re headed farther north in Maine.Written August 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SteelpearlHolyoke, MA103 contributionsWe vacation in Ogunquit every year for our anniversary and never miss the chance to go to this playhouse. We have never been disappointed with any production we have seen here. We actually went twice this year and most recent trip we saw little Shop of Horrors. Excellent play cast and venue.Written September 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- brewColumbus_GeorgiaColumbus, GA1,393 contributionsThe views are incredible. We enjoyed walking the long Foot bridge to the beach and take in the sights. - brewColumbus_GeorgiaColumbus, GA1,393 contributionsIt was too early and the season hasn’t begun but the area was beautiful from the bridges to the sand ( not rock like it is at other points) we sat near the pavilion and enjoyed the cool weather and views.Written May 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - brewColumbus_GeorgiaColumbus, GA1,393 contributionsThe architecture alone will make you stop and absorb. When you enter inside it’s like your in elementary school again and checking out books. The smell is so detailed that it puts you back to an early age. Just go and experience.Written May 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Deborah A3 contributionsJim and I have been shopping here for well over a decade because in addition to the Christmas items, Rusty has antiques. Specifically antique bar pins and stick pins that Jim knows I adore, collect and proudly wear. Every year we'd go to the Ogunquit, York Maine area and we'd visit Uniques and Antiques along with the other shops in the Perkins Cove area. Inevitably, Jim must have gone back on his own because my Christmas and birthday presents always came from there.
A year ago last October Jim unexpectedly passed away - while cleaning, I found Jim's hiding place for my Christmas and birthday presents - of course, special treasures from Uniques and Antiques.
I stopped by to let Rusty know about Jim, and as we shared memories and stories, Rusty reached into one of his cases and handed me a stick pin with the moon and a star in gold and seed pearls. He just said, "From me" and wouldn't let me pay him. Little did he know, that on the back of our cottage I had lit a star and some twinkle lights to look like a shooting star in Jim's memory. Thank you Rusty - in a world that can seem so impersonal, you truly are exceptional!Written February 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. When I went, it was mid March and early in the morning, so it was relatively peaceful.
