This is a very nice beach. Parking made be scarce in the summer. People walk this beach all year long. nice views, plenty of sand free from rocks, seaweed, etc.

I love old architecture and buildings so I checked this out & found it to be beautiful. However as I approached the area near the small pond I was attacked by mosquitoes mid- day & couldn't stay long.
Worth a look with a little walking path. It's a brief stop but lovely.

One of our priorities on each and every KPT vacation is to visit Maine Art Hill comprised of 4 separate venues. The featured artist this trip was Janis Sanders, but the of a number of talented artists including Mark Davis, David Witbeck, Lyman Whitaker and Joseph Webster are regularly on display plus a wide variety of other artists. I am pretty sure there is something of interest for everyone so set your GPS for Maine Art Hill the next time you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.

The Kennebunk Free Library is just wonderful. A library not only with everything in which you may be interested but knowledgeable and helpful staff to find it and steer you in the right direction when you are unsure what you re after. Good parking great central location and quiet.

Went in the morning during Labor Day weekend, not crowded. Beach is beautiful and rocky. Had to pay $25 to park for just a couple hours!

The beach was a gem of a find and not crowded like many other nearby Maine beaches in late July. Parking was along the street and a trek-in but a pleasant enough walk to the beach area. I recommend using a wagon or something with wheels if you take beach chairs and beach umbrellas in.

Nice little museum. Good for history of the local area. a lot of information on Kennebunk, the mills and dams along the nearby rivers. Some artifacts and discussion of Lafayette's visit during the revolutionary war.

Interesting but you have to hope there is no traffic. No where to stop or park. It took three times circling to snap a photo

This was a fascinating place to explore, and made me wish I was handy enough to say, install an antique door. Walls of door knobs, drawers of hinges, a room filled with old window frames, one could spend hours browsing and dreaming up projects.

My wife and I enjoyed a first-time hike here. Peaceful woods. The trails were wet from recent rain, but certainly walkable. There are a lot of roots and up and down climbs, so this is not for handicap vehicles or those who may be a little unsteady while walking. We did see a bike tire mark on the trail. Quiet brooks, a few bridges. Very nice overall. Off the beaten path, so not crowded, and not much parking space for this free activity. There are three very well-marked trails and some informational signs.

Dogs of all sizes welcome and it was a fun place for them. It was kept clean when we were there and all the people were friendly.

We met the artist on our visit. She showed us how she created her seascapes. On thing I particularly enjoyed was the wide range of prices. One could get a small painting relatively inexpensively, which I did. Worth a stop if interested in art gallaries.
