- ConSchneiBrunswick, ME2 contributionsMy wife and I attended the final Friday evening show of “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” for our 38th wedding anniversary. The show was fabulous - a hit every minute. It was our first show in several years. But that’s not why I’m leaving this review. We purchased our tickets online. A day or two later the box office called to say that a season subscriber had been online at the same time, was trying to buy four seats together, and would we mind moving to different seats a couple rows back? These were equally good seats (there really are no bad seats in Pickard Theater), so we readily agreed. When we arrived, there was a very nice card with anniversary wishes from the staff letting us know that they’d comped us for the price. At intermission, one of the staff came over to thank us personally. Now that’s service! We just made a donation in the amount of the tickets. Treat people right and they’ll treat you right in turn. Hats off to MSMT for another successful season. We’ll be back!Written August 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jeter928Hartford, CT64 contributionsWhat a well done, interesting museum filled with curated art from indigenous artists, artifacts and exhibits depicting arctic animals. Staff were friendly and the space itself is beautifully organized. Get lunch afterwards at Wild Oats!Written July 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

It's a downtown Adirondack chair project called 'Have a Seat!' to create a welcoming environment for tourists and residents. The chairs are painted in bold or pastel colors with beautiful designs by local artists and are scattered throughout downtown in pairs. They're chained to lightpoles, etc. so that no one gets 'carried away' and carries them off during the night.Written July 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RileighHanoi, Vietnam26 contributionsThere’s a reason Flight Deck has been rated the best brewery on the Midcoast multiple times! Family friendly atmosphere that truly has something for everyone. The beer is some of the best in Maine, and the pizza is fantastic. If you aren’t into beer there’s a great wine selection, hard seltzer, canned cocktails and hard cider as well as non alcoholic options. Above all, the passionate and friendly staff are what makes this place truly special. Do not miss Flight Deck if you’re in the area!Written October 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- wiiildbillReston, VA283 contributionsThe owners of this house stopped living here in 1925, and used it only as a summer home for 60 years. They donated it to the historical society with all contents, and the result if a fascinating museum. It is packed with appliances from the 1920s. The owners were wealthy and had lots of nice furniture and art work.
Our tour guide was a retiree who seemed to know everything about the family, the appliances, and history of the house.

They had a ton of furniture and all kinds of other household goods and decor, as usual. I liked their large display of vintage colorful Fiesta dinnerware, several nautical paintings and prints of old sailing ships, and a pretty hand-painted writing desk with a 2-shelf hutch.Written March 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rob E2 contributionsLast minute decision and my family and I wanted to take our new RV for the night and they allowed us for one night. Another family joined us. We were able to pick the spot we wanted off the main site area which was fantastic. It was very well maintained, plenty of space to move around.Written September 21, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Linda PBallston Spa, NY416 contributionsFun sway and bounce, river views wonderful. You won't spend a lot of time here but if passing through or in town for evening, definently stop. Bike path quite near, shopping and main road 1/2 mile away. Eagle on the river rocks below me while there and storm front rolled through with amazing views.Written July 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lizardlick2 contributionsI took this tour solo as I am kind of a Civil War nerd. It was an amazing tour. Our guid was extremely knowledgable and she made us all feel welcome. I highly recommend a visit here if you consider yourself a history buff or just want to learn about a great American and his family.Written August 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
