What a lovely example of generosity, but that is our experience of Maine and New England in general - lovely people, who give something to their visitors - get down to this museum - it is fantastic.
Spent 1-1/2 to 2 hours enjoying trains (focus on history of narrow gauge trains in Maine), historic buildings that have been relocated, a giant operating model railroad, and antique cars and fire engines.
