I am sure many others have spoken about the experience at the Sagrada Familia. It was a wonderful visit. While not yet completed (2026?) and done towers requiring renovation be prepared for scaffolding on the outside. The intricacy and whimsy of the east facade (the current entrance) is magical. You can view this fairly well from a distance but it has fine details you cannot appreciate unless you are up close. The west facade is starkly different with angular (almost cubist) and austere stages of the crosses beneath a grand arch of tilting columns. This could also be appreciated without buying a ticket.

But get a ticket (recommend buying online before you get to Barcelona - a timed ticket assures entrance [they can sell out] and skips the line).

The inside is both minimalist and magical. The architecture alone is worth the visit. Also I regret the factor that we were only inside for about 40-50 minutes as in that time along the lighting effect of the stained glass changed character. We gad a guide to explain things but if you don’t then get a book or weblink to explain the engineering and aesthetic marvel that this building is.

Take a few minutes to just sit in the pews and ‘feel’ the place

All if the family (51, 53, 54, 79) loved it.
Would visit again - maybe in the morning for a different light ext.

    A Barcelona must visit.

I almost cried the first time I saw the Colosseum. So much history behind this piece of architecture. Day and night it looks amazing! Crowded area so be careful with your belongings.

Paris is a great place to go out with your spouse or significant other. I went with my wife and we had a great time. One of the most romantic places you will encounter in your life.

Beautiful and still can’t see everything within one day! My second time and some of the paintings still astound me.

Stayed in front of a pantheon and admired it everyday. It is an astonishing piece of history. Take a stroll around the neighborhood and you’ll see a lot more.

We learned so much and our tour with Yeoman Darren Hardy was the highlight. Informative and funny bringing the often gruesome history to life. So make sure to take the tour which is included in the entrance price.
Taking the time to see the Crown Jewels is also a must.

Like so many teenagers, I read Anne Frank’s diary when growing up and today - barely thirty minutes ago - finally stood in the room where she penned those timeless pages. A moving experience which defies any and all description. And yet, conversely, also just one of the millions we will sadly never hear. History which cannot be forgotten, can never be exaggerated and mustn’t be missed. Book ahead and go.

Outstandiong collection of artifacts. The central part of the building is beautiful. From here you can pause and plan your visit. If you are in London for an extended period I suggest multiple short visits. The place is so huge and there is so much to see you can get Museum Overload.

The Museum is free. It also gets mobbed so I suggest getting there early (it opens at 10am). Make it the first stop on your day.

There are numerous must sees including but not limited to the Rosetta Stone. Great exhibit of money, Egyptian Mummies, etc. etc. etc.

We went here at 8 am on a Saturday and it was starting to get crowded. At least we could take a few pictures and enjoy the atmosphere on a beautiful spring morning. The fountain is gorgeous but ai am sure you already know that.

Beautiful building, easily accessible by subway. After buying tickets online, you can go in. The more distinctive feature is that you can climb the stairs to the top of the building. The scenery is excellent, but it is a bit tiring

Beautiful park, very busy but lots to see.
The monuments, lake & landscaped areas were beautiful & well maintained.
Also plenty of free art installations to visit which provided some interest.
Very busy as was a tourist spot.

One of the best museums in the world, this museum tells the story of Vincent's life in art in chronological order. So many of his original works are here. There are four levels in the museum, showcasing his work, as well as some art of those he inspired. Spend the few extra euros & get the audio guide, as it provides all the context needed to explain the artwork. The museum is always crowded, so buy your tickets online at least four days in advance to get the entry time you want. Also, there are lockers you can use to store your things. Staff was very nice and helpful.

An absolute must when in Seville. It is seen from the back on bus tours, no words can describe this stunning building which actually takes your breath away when you walk to the front and it comes into full view.

You can hire rowing boat to poodle around the moat or just sit and take the views in.
