Very interesting museum. Very much worth the visit.
The lady who sold us the ticket also took the time to give us a fantastic guided tour of the incredible collections of the museum, housed in a beautiful building at the edge of town, with a parking right next door.
She was amazingly knowledgeable and made the region’s incredible history alive.

very interesting and exceptional value, Incredible to think people actually lived in these 'rooms' in the late 20th century

Chiara is perhaps the last person in the world, who knows the secret of sea silk. It is a must to visit her and learn about it if you are around....

One of the better beaches, never to visit during the holidays because there are too many people, it is possible to improve the food supply a little, great for the disabled and suitable for young children.

A view to climb for, not easily accessed, craggy, rocky, at times a little scary, but wow what a view and the clearest aqua pool to dive in if you are really good! If not climb in , deep crystal warm water and a site to behold.

While staying near Calasetta for a week, we spent most of the days on the Spaggia delle Saline beach. Nice and clean beach, clear water and quite shallow, this great for children. We avoided the bigger bar on the eastern end, but went to the small beach joint on the western end of the beach for drinks and snacks. Considerably smaller place, not a very large choice of snacks, but not crowded at all and really the most lovely people running it.

It's a pretty simple church, but the true gem is underground. Burial chambers were used between the 2nd and 7th centuries. Very interesting, accessible on a guided visit.

Very picturesque bay and beach. Extremely calm and empty in October, but that means all the facilities are closed.

Me and my clients really enjoyed the Mindfulness Evening we shared from Torre Canai. Unforgettable scenery at sunset and the intense scent of the mediterranean bushes, woke up our senses and energised our minds.

We saw Semaphoro on a distant hill and having failed to find a road to it, we parked near Capo Sperone and walked up a rough track to the top where we found our goal. It was in a bad state of repair and we had to scramble over debris to get in. We sat by the metal signal pole inside and ate croissants and drank orange juice. The views were superb and we loved the old building. It was well worth the climb and a fabulous place to have breakfast. Maybe not ideal for young children or people with disabilities but great fun if you can climb in without falling down the hole in the entrance!

My favourite part was meeting our guide Emanuele he made the experience very special and memorable. I wasn’t going to go until I heard a gentleman explaining to some tourists in English about the history of the archaeological sites. Instantly I wanted to know more so the next day I made my trip to the necropoli to book my ticket. Thankfully it was the same man I heard the previous day he introduced himself as Emanuele. This man should be the image on the brochure as he took me back in time to how the Sardinian people lived. I most certainly would recommend this archaeological tour the highlight of my trip.
