Fountain Square Park
#7 of 38 things to do in Bowling Green
I am so glad we did the trees for just starting to Bud out and people were playing with their kids with balloons and the statues were all clean and nicely arranged around the square.
The park is sprinkled with quilts and blankets for picknicking, lawn chairs for toe tapping, and the laughter of children as a local band plays on Wednesdays during midday.
Aviation Heritage Park

Adjacent to the displays is a park, so there is also an opportunity for the kids to play some before hitting the road again.
The kids played at the playground (8,5,4) and then we ventured over to look at the airplanes.

The kids were pretty fascinated with the sinkhole (I had showed them the video), and it related well to our planned adventures in Mammoth Cave the following day.

I would definitely recommend the Conundrum Workshop to anyone wishing to spend an hour with friends or family, in a safe environment, while getting to use your critical thinking skills.

The Hot Rods games at Bowling Green Ballpark offer entertainment for all ages, watch the game, kids can play at the playground, food and drinks are reasonably priced, and there are many special event games.
Wonderful even for small children with a merry-go-round and craft activities.
Beech Bend Park & Splash Lagoon
#9 of 38 things to do in Bowling Green
The water park has a huge swimming pool, that stretches a rope course across that my youngest was fascinated with! Park food of the day - kids meal chicken tenders, a nice souvenir cup to keep.
He loved the pool for the bigger kids!! Lots of slides- about 6-7 smaller ones- then there's an open slide (red one) at two stories, and a closed slide (yellow one) at three stories.
Jackson's Orchard

The atmosphere is family friendly and there is so much to do! Can’t wait to go back again soon!
All of this is offered at the orchard which is a beautiful site and recently, they have established a playground for children and occasionally have a petting zoo on site.
