- mejmarieCalifornia7 contributionsThis is one of the nicest old west museums that I’ve seen. There’s a lot of history in the location too, as the new building sits on top of the old graveyard. No, there are no bodies under the building. Lol, they did get moved to a cemetery.Written September 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jrandnancy74Sulphur Springs, TX168 contributionsThe Long Branch Saloon was part of the Boot Hill Museum but it was actually my husband’s reason for going!! He is a big fan of the old Gun Smoke TV shows and he wanted to stop in and have a beer!!! The exhibits in the museum were interesting and we also enjoyed those.Written September 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bill RCopley, OH99 contributionsWe decided to stop & have a look. We are so glad we did. The Lady who took us through the house was a wealth of information. We spent a lot of time just talking to her.Written July 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Let’s TravelHenderson, KY140 contributionsWe saw the trail online. Drove out to it. It’s deserted. There is zero maintenance. The benches are broken. You walk up to the top of the hill. Look at a couple wagon tracks then walk back. It’s a nice walk but nothing specialWritten July 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Me and Her After KidsLone Tree, CO361 contributionsTook the walking tour and stopped at each larger than life statue. The detail on each one of these are amazing.Written December 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FLSTCIQuanah, TX125 contributionsNice statue of longhorn near the center of downtown. - texaskids4Amarillo86 contributionsThe Wax museum/Teachers HOF/museum is located conveniently right by Boot Hill. Myself, my 70 year old mom and 10 y/o son all enjoyed! The Wax Museum is small and a little dated, but still fun. (Don't expect like a Ripley's wax museum--that's not what you get!) The teachers hall of fame/museum was a LOT more interesting than I expected! I would call this more of a "school museum" So many items for my childhood and my moms! They've done and amazing job restoring an old 1 room school house. (Part of the Teachers HOF is specific to past Kansas teachers, as expected--so that area is probably not as exciting to some). The ladies that run this place were amazing! Super friendly and knowledgeable! They have a very reasonable priced gift shop with some unique items too! We spent an hour or so here.Written August 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sandy H4 contributionsAir conditioning super hot outside good break from heat but hated smelled like a ash tray. - Kimberly MArkansas City, KS303 contributionsWe were here on a blustery, rainy day but it did not stop us from walking the whole zoo, and interacting with the wolves, the bear and all of the primates. The all seemed to want attention and we were happy to engage them! (If your kids would like to see an older style concrete and metal zoo, this is the one for you.) The kids agreed that we need to come back when it's warmer.Written December 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OFT1982Kansas75 contributionsIf you like the historically accurate and/or fictional American West, you'll like the brief walk required to experience the DC Walk of Fame. I personally like the Gunsmoke series, so it was nice to find the "Hollywood-like" sidewalk medallions with an emphasis on Dodge City's real, noteworthy figures as well as James Arness and Amanda Blake's TV interpretations. The southeast section of the walk might make you wish you had a can of Mace with you, but not to worry. Overall, a safe and pleasant way to spend 60 minutes experiencing the real, current downtown Dodge City. The wife and I enjoyed it.Written October 22, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

We also went to Styx, later, it was loud, and our seats were behind the speakers, there were empty seats tho, so we just moved over a bit.Written February 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FLSTCIQuanah, TX125 contributionsLarge antique store located downtown. There is some space on the main floor with very nice items, but be sure to head upstairs too. This place is amazing! We shopped for three hours. There was a little of everything for the collector. All prices are clearly marked and staff are readily available to help. The owners were very friendly and talkative. Since we had a five hour road trip back home, they carefully packed all my purchases and boxed them. Everything was in perfect condition when we got home. We'll be back!Written July 27, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
