You can ride this historical railway up to the top for amazing views of Dubuque Iowa and you can ride back down or enjoy some beautiful scenery with a 10 minute walk back down.

With all that going on, there was also a very peaceful vibe created by the beauty of the flowers and the view, and the comfort provided by shaded, abundant seating.
The art was a pleasant addition to the riverwalk and provided a reason to stop and ponder the art while enjoying the fresh air and views of the river.
