Excellent guided tour of a working windmill with detailed explanations of how it works, the various types of windmills and the role of windmills in the control of water levels.
The talk was amazing, so animated and interesting and you are able to walk out and round the sails and take photos as well as learning about the inner workings of the Windmill.

We were welcomed by a very nice guide from the museum, who gave us an awesome private tour (no other guest were there) through the four decorated rooms of the beautifully restored building.
The shop below the museum is already a treasure trove, but the floor above, part of a beautiful canal house owned by the founder of the museum, is where the story begins, in prehistory.
