Big thanks to Bénédicte for making it happen to organize a great birthday surprise to my boyfriend with the flight on water plane. Very positive and special experience!

Hang gliding on an ultralight trike with Gaetan was the highlight of my recent trip to Guadeloupe! Besides the amazing views, you really get a sense of what it must be like to be a bird as you glide through the air - it's a feeling of total freedom and weightlessness that really must be experienced. Gatean speaks English well and describes the sights as you go by. He will also show you sea turtles, which are really neat to see from the air. If you're scared of heights (like my fellow traveller was), know that this is a very safe and calm experience. The seats are very stable, you're buckled in with a helmet, and it is truly relaxing. Everything about this trip was great from start to finish!

    A few things to note:
    - The flight takes off from Saint-Francois airport. If it doesn't show up on your map, you can set your location to the Saint-Francois Golf Course (the airport is adjacent, on the north side).
    - We drove from Deshaies in Basse-Terre, which is the other side of Guadeloupe. It was worth the drive, but give yourself time to get there, because there's a LOT of traffic on the island.
    - The washroom at the airport was out of service when we were there due to recent heavy rains. It is a very small regional airport, so don't expect many extras to be available.
    - Vol Pendulaire is located at the very beginning of the airport, beside the skydiving location.
    - The aircraft only holds one passenger, so if you're going with a group, keep in mind that it will be one person flying at a time.
    - You can take photos with your phone - Gaetan will lend you a lanyard to secure it.

What an awesome day with Eric and his sailing-boats!

We had a full day (“Green & Blue”) and were fortunate to get a private tour.

    What to expect:
    - Eric introduced us to his boats and basic sailing techniques.
    - We sailed towards the mangroves where we got into the water to snorkel. (I was very happy wearing my water shoes.)
    - We passed an island full of birds - nesting and taking first flights. (What a spectacular place.)
    - We sailed along a reef towards a remote beach. At the beach we spent a couple of hours snorkeling and relaxing at the camp Eric build once we got there. (We were treated with a nice barbecue and drinks.)
    - Sailing back to the starting point with Basse-Terre on the horizon.

We saw wild nature and with Eric we had an experienced and knowledgeable guide on our side learning about the surroundings. Eric respects nature and is simply a nice guy.

    This was our vacation highlight!

    Thanks to Eric!

    Loved it!
Difficult at first but once you get a hold of it ,it's fun.
Some neck and back pain after hitting water several times at high velocity but I'm 38 so not a problem for every one.
    Great adrenaline ;-)

Super cool team of real champs (best in France for many of them), very reassuring. The site is actually beautiful, lost out back. Take off happens with the Desirade on the horizon. Because it is a bit away from humans, it is common to be able to spot turtoises, large fish and else during the flights. And if you want a bit of acrobatic fun, you just need to ask.

My wife and I spent a day with Patou and Nico during our trip, and it was the highlight of a wonderful week in Guadeloupe. Every part of the experience exceeded our expectations, which were already high courtesy of the other strong reviews. A fun boat ride with Captain Nico, a walk around Iguana Island, snorkeling with turles, lemon sharks, barracudas, cuttlefish and much more, and a wonderful lunch that Nico prepared on the island. Can't say enough good things, all of this despite being the only two non-French speaking people on the trip.

My daughter and have done flyboard, for the first time.It was exciting, very hard to stay in equilibrium, so it was not easy. but when I arrived to 3-4 meters up to the water of the beach, it seems to me, ans also to my daughter, to fly!
Was one of the most beautiful thing I tried in my life. Congratulation to the people that work there, very professional.

It’s a bit of a challenge for English speakers to make good connections in Guadeloupe for scuba. Not that it’s too hard once you’re there, but setting things up in advance can be challenging, and this beautiful island is overwhelmingly French-speaking. So here’s an all-around great solution for divers of any skill level. Mathieu is a very professional instructor and guide, has just the right attitude and clearly loves what he’s doing. Great communicator, responsive via both email and text (w/i next day every time). My son and I did our PADI open water checkout dives with him in December 2018 after the classroom and pool work up north in the cold. Great success in the Cousteau Reserve. Mathieu is aligned with another operator, but he’s your divemaster, making sure everything goes perfectly with no issues on gear, process on the boat or getting to the right place on time. Very good English skills, enjoyable to work with, does diving right. As I am a woefully limited English-only speaker, Mathieu solved all our challenges with great results.

We took our two teenagers and one went up in an "autogyre" (tiny 2 person helicopter) and the other went up in a small plane (again 2 person) at the same time. They both had the most amazing time and have been raving about it ever since. Highly recommend

I have never surfed before and was really eager to try. Aaron picked me up at my hotel in the morning and we drove to the Hellereux beach.

He explained a few things on ground and we did some tests, but quickly went to the water.

He was very encouraging, gave constructive feedback and alwas stayed close by. In the course of about 3 hours I managed to stand up on my board and enjoy a few waves. (Knowing how to snowboard has helped a lot).

Aaron is great company, a very interesting person and a friendly coach. He used to train the French surf team, so he is accustomed to professionals as well. Whatever is your case, if you feel like surfing in Guadeloupe, don't hesitate to contact him, he is a great guy.

Note: the sun is VERY strong, even in the morning before 11.00, so put a LOT of sunlotion, especially on your legs, and wear one of those UV protective T-shirts.

I was not even dreaming of this :
    - You give a call the day before to have a dive with Gwadive : 'no problem, come tomorrow morning at 9am'.
    - The D-day, you come at 9am : a smily guy receives you and explains that you're the only guest that morning!! Normal as he had forgotten, but it's his Birthday today, so he wanted to stay quiet :-) ! No problem for him, it will be his birthday gift to have a dive with just the two of us!
    - Then you discuss with Olivier (the 'guy' I was mentionning) & spend a very nice moment chatting with him..., just the time to arrive on the diving spot : today, 2 in 1 ! 'The Barracuda Caves' & the 'Arches'
    - End of the Dive, you're back on the boat, your mouth is looking like a banana as you're not stopping to smile... The Dive was amazing, plenty of Fauna, very nice caves & arches, and all of that in a very clear & warm water (27°c)!!!
    - We finished our discussion on the boat & then around a beer...

This was just amazing!!!! Thank you Olivier!
