This playground was behind the apartment building we stayed at. Unique and definitely for all ages. I'm 65 and went on the little zipline twice.

Had a lovely evening in the hot spring (there the large man made pool and then a small hot spring). Others were there when we arrived at 9 pm but we stayed until 11pm and had the place to ourselves from about 10. There are changing rooms but these are closed at 9/10ish.

The views are amazing - can see all the way over to Snaefellsnes on a clear evening.

There’s an honesty box for those arriving in the evening so take cash if you plan to go there a bit later - a guy did turn up at about 9:30 to close the changing rooms so could take card payments then for those without cash. They could do with installing a QR code or something to allow evening goers to pay by card as so few people carry cash in Iceland.

Also, ignore the picture on this page showing the price as that must be very old - it’s now 1500 kr per adult!

We visited the gym which is very nice modern gym with good equipment and in the same building there is a big swimming pool, a kids pool and two hot pots ...the view from the hot pots is amazing.

We used this small playground a couple of times while staying in Patreksfjordur there are a couple of swings, a grass area and a concrete area to play -our little one really enjoyed it. The post office is right next to it.
