Before you enter to the crocodiles zone, you can visit a good museum showing a bit of Gambia's history, and an exhibition of musical instruments and traditional artifacts, it already starts good.
guide will take you up to any of the crocs where you can get up close and personal to them(they only eat fish),you can touch them and the guide will willingly take pictures for you,a good memory to keep.

Amazing place great walk so much to see birdwatchers paradise good to wander through in the shade for few hours lots birds,monkeys,lizards tropical trees and vegetation
... this before, walking through where the monkeys roam freely, jumping through the trees, wandering and playing on the ground, they took the nuts from our hands and were very gentle, the baby monkeys were hilarious!

The night sounds of monkeys, baboons and birds was a whole new experience.. we stayed for 3 days and it was a fabulous introduction to the country and people, well worth the cost.
