Excellent overview of Joya de ceren, Cerré verde and San Andres. Eduardo was a great guide. Lots of laughs.

Excellent introduction to El Salvador, with engaging narrative of two Mayan archeological sites at different levels of excavation plus scenic Volcanoes Park. Miguel is friendly, articulate, knowledgeable, and passionately interested in Mayan history. Relaxing lunch at stunning overlook of caldera lake. Pleasant drives through scenic countryside to Cerro Verde overlook for commanding, panoramic views of volcanoes and countryside while sipping excellent Salvadoran coffee.

Our guide was amazing! This was probably one of the coolest things we have done. Romero was knowledgeable and patient with us!

What an amazing tour and adventure Tunco Life took us on! Tunco Life customized our tour so we could not only hike Santa Ana but also visit the Tazumal Mayan ruins. Salva, our tour guide, was awesome! Not only was he bilingual but also very knowledgeable and accommodating. Our tour started super early but was totally worth it because we saw the sunrise and had the trail almost entirely to ourselves. Our driver was super skilled too, navigating the crazy traffic. From the ocean to the volcanos and the lake, from the city to the country we saw so much of El Salvador and learned so much in just one day. Will definitely book a tour again in the future!

The hike to Santa Ana was fantastic. Glad we got there earlier and beat the crows on this Sunday hike. The group was small and organized. Pick up was on time and the spot for lunch was so rewarding after the hike. Highly recommended if you visit El Salvador.

Marvel was an awesome guide. He knew so much about the area and the history. It was great taking it all in and seeing things we learned first hand. I would definitely recommend.

Fernando was an amazing guide! We got out early in the morning to start our journey to Tamanique and were the first ones to the falls. The hike was beautiful and lead by both Fernando and a local from the city. Cliff jumping was a lot of fun and was not scary at all as there are different levels to jump from. There were 4 different falls to see and they were all magnificent! This is definitely an excursion I would recommend to anyone looking to have a memorable trip.

It was a fun Full day of volcano viewing with visits to quaint small towns with a little birding on the side. Birding was not on the itinerary but when I expressed an interest, my guide said he had his spotting scope in the car!

I recently traveled to El Salvador alone and wanted a tour on my only full day in the country. I picked Salvadorean Tours because they were the quickest to respond to my emailed questions. I opted for the Flowers tour and my tour guide spoke great English and helped me practice my Spanish. After seeing a few towns and eating pupusas, we decided to drive to the coast since I was the only traveler. First we stopped at a lovely restaurant for a light lunch of delicious soup and then we drove to the coast. The drive stopped along the coast so I could take photos and also stopped at a stand that had the most delicious fresh coconuts. For dinner, we went to a restaurant in El Zonte, sat on the beach and ate fresh cerviche - so much better than anything I ate in Lima, Peru! The beach was so beautiful and the warm was really warm. Made me wish I had stayed a night on the beach instead of in the city but I'm grateful to have experienced it at all. It was a perfect day. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing tour with Alfredo. Honestly, he is one of the best guides I have worked with and I have visited 70 countries! He was always accessible via WhatsApp. He picked us up at the airport the day we arrived and even took us to the airport the day we left. He customized our tour to exactly what we wanted and even helped me get local beans to carry home to an El Salvadorian friend. Best tour ever! I will also add we were two American women travelers. Prior to going, we were slightly apprehensive based on "warnings" from travel sites. That's part of why Alfredo picked us up at the airport. Not only did he help us to feel safe but he taught us just how safe his country was. Before we knew it, we were ubering all about town! ALFREDO IS THE BEST!!

We booked this overnight trip as getting to Copan took two border crossings (Gutamala and Honduras) and it was smooth with our amazing guide's help - Alex. His English was excellent, and conversation kept the 4+ car ride interesting and relevant. Couldn't have asked for a better person to go on a road trip with!

My husband and I also didn't expect the additional Mayan site of San Andreas, very nice on the way in addition to Joya De Ceren. Lunch was at a local joint with great vegetarian options.

Copan town was so charming with plenty of options for dinner, the hotel was stayed at was at Plaza Copan and we slept well. Breakfast was delicious.

The ruins are so magical, especially in the AM getting there before other tourists. The Stela was truly unique and the art here is superb.

Alfredo was genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. Our hike and tour was AMAZING! Alfredo picked us up from our hotel and gave us a wonderful El Salvadorian history and geography lesson, while driving to our hiking starting point. We hiked until we met the waterfalls and then we were able to get into the water. We were not brave enough to jump, but Alfredo ensured that we had a fun time anyway. We literally had a photo shoot in the waterfalls. Alfredo was such a gentleman, he offered to hold our bags and ensured that we had enough pictures and video to create an album of our trip. After the hike we enjoyed lunch at a restaurant along the black beach. The waves were so large, that they met us at the table. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and conversations with him. After lunch we stopped by a local vendor and obtained fresh coconut water. If you only have time for one activity while visiting El Salvador, ensure that THIS is the activity you engage in. The Wet and Wild: Tamanique Waterfalls and world-famous El Tunco Beach activity is phenomenal. Thank you for making our trip so special Alfredo.
