This was an awesome tour. Osmaro was a great guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about to country and culture. He went above and beyond what the tour outlined. I would highly recommend this tour.

Quick trip up to Sulchitoto. Quick walk around town and then a coffee with an amazing view. Stopped by a waterfall. Great quick overview of Sulchitoto. On the list to return and spend a few days there properly. Great guide / driver in Adonis!

A very pretty, quiet city. There are plenty of great pupuserias and an old, remodeled theater with free cultural events. We saw opera choruses! It's easy and fun to go out on the lake. This town is work a visit.

Favorite part of El Salvador was meeting my Super Cool tour guide Alex and very Sweet driver Elena. Together they make an amazing team. Alex provided my husband and I with so much information about the towns, people and customs. Our private tour surpassed our expectations such as the beautiful town of Suchitoto and nearby waterfalls. Alex's passion and knowledge of El Salvador poured right out of him making our experience even more enjoyable. When coming to El Salvador I highly recommend EC tours ask for the dynamic duo Alex and Elena.

An amazing tour with the amazing guide, Rene. I had to pay extra for transportation as I was staying in San Salvador, and Rene personally picked me up and drove us for breakfast at Suchitoto, which was amazing. He was very knowledgeable of the area and served as a translator for Don Rafa, the former rebel fighter from the civil war. I gained incredible insight from Don Rafa's experiences from a war not many people may know about it, and I think it is unique to hear it from someone who went through it first-hand than to go on a standard tour. What also made this special was that the day that I went on this tour was the 30th anniversary of the end of the civil war (which is why I chose to go on the tour that day haha)

After meeting with Don Rafa, Rene was kind enough to show me a little more of his hometown of Suchitoto, as well as his wife's indigo shop. He accompanied me back to San Salvador while his son was driving. Can't highly recommend this tour enough, and I wish Rene, his family, and his business good fortune!

And this is a quality tour for a great price. This is the perfect way to become familiarized with this town and it’s lovely people. I loved exploring the nearby waterfall, learning about the importance of the indigo trade and getting to watch the dying process, visiting the Peace for arts center, the Cathedral, and other nearby sites. This part of the country has a lot of rich history. Highly recommend this tour operator.

Went out for the early morning bird walk with Rene and his assistant. It was an excellent morning with a wide range of birds recorded in a very interesting area of river, farmland and hot springs. They were great spotters with good ID. The leaders were good and entertaining company and I received a full list of the birs species recorded. Strongly recommended.
