Spring for the 25 Euro, 3-wine tasting private tour and select from ANY of Feudi's current releases - a rarity at a winery of this caliber.

Aglianico is one such grape and produces full-bodied, well-balanced and delightful wines, that are keepers and still quite enjoyable decades later.
Therefore I stopped shortly at the winery on the way to Pompeii.

A few miles Northeast of Avellino, in a rural location, the Winery produces a good selection of wines based on local, autochtonous grapes: Falanghina, Greco di Tufo and Fiano d'Avellino.
The wines were really lovely, and the tasting was structured so that one starts with the lightest and continues all the way to the heaviest.
