Start at the Old Mark House State Historic Site at 123 North Commerce Street, on the block between Main Street and the Galena River.

This was our first stop on a last minute decision of taking a trolley tour to see the sights!
Very good historical info, giving us a view of our past and what it was like!
Belvedere Mansion

It is located on the east side of the Galena River, so you do have a great view of Galena and the river.
We really enjoyed the tour and will be back this spring to view the gardens and have another look inside this amazing residence.
