Average lounge with college dorm food. I have the United Club credit card, so the lounge access comes with the card. However, if I didn’t own the credit card, I definitely wouldn’t pay to enter the lounge for over $50. Amex Centurion club blows this lounge out of the water. You would think United would take notes when they charge a $500 annual credit card fee.

As expected this is always one of the more crowded then just about any other United Club in the U.S. Of course my last visit was during a snow storm in Chicago which caused the board to turn orange.

As far as food, it is what it is, slim picking but decent flavor.

If you are a member then fine, but I would not pay the day rate to enter.

I spend much more time at the B6 club due to the flights I usually take. But when I am in C this is a pleasant place to spend my time. It is small, but I don't really see it being as busy as the B-18 club, which is sometimes too full to even enter. You're not getting a gourmet meal here but I've had some tasty soup and pasta and other items here. It's a nice place to sit back and relax before the flight.

I travel to and through ORD a lot, many times per year. Of all the major Untied Hubs, ORD has done the best job upgrading their clubs. EWR has a lot of catching up to do, which as my home airport, I'm excited to see some sort of movement.

ORD clubs have the newer look, newer food choices, bigger bathrooms and lots of locations.

The thing is, when I fly internationally, I will always choose the international airline club (Luftansa and SAS for examples) over the American clubs because they have a much more hospitable nature.

But for the domestic flights, and especially when routing through ORD, which let's it, doesn't always have the best weather and delays are common, this is a great escape from the crowded airport.
