Visited the park in late February, no crowds and very mild weather. A must see national park that is surprisingly well preserved. Educational and very well documented throughout the park.

We spent a contented 90 minutes strolling along the beach and the following the paths to the long-gone temples. On a warm Spring day this was lovely

    MY EXPERIENCE
I hiked in “Little Switzerland” with a large group of Israeli religious high school girls: it was not the quiet pleasant experience of my hopes (to say the least). The scenery was nice, though (see my few photos).

There are lots of things to see that are very interesting: the ruins of Herod's palace, hippodrome, theatre, old bathhouses, mosaics on the floor. I think it is well worth a visit, and is in a great setting by the sea.
The entrance fee was reasonable compared to Israel prices and entrance fees in other countries to similar things. There are some information boards, but more would help, especially around the theatre area.
There are restaurants and shops near the main entrance, it would be better if these were outside the entrance to the national park.

This place is packed with hiking and biking routes. I like most the Israel trail section running south from Ramat Hanadiv, particularly along the cliff, as it offers greats views of the sea and the coast.
