What travelers are saying
- Eddy T.Petah Tiqwa, Israel106 contributionsBeautiful gardens in the heart of Haifa. It is recommended to book a guided tour of the gardens' site. A tour takes place in several languages. Alone, without a guide it is forbidden to walk around most of the areas of the gardens. The tour takes about 45 minutes, starts from the top and descends down according to the levels of the garden. Very romantic for couples. Also suitable for a trip with children, but children are not really small because it is required to keep quiet on site.Written April 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Julia LChesterfield, UK80 contributionsSmall and compact but with so much detail and beautiful colours and of course Elijah’s second cave. The friendly friar was very proud of his information leaflet he’d written and rightly so. At just $1 definitely get one and read and tour, you’ll learn so much more and see things you might miss. We were able to do our own tour and it was just fascinating.
There’s several interesting points outside too both in the grounds and across the road.
The lighthouse is under scaffolding and the other Elijah’s cave (now a significant synagogue) is under renovation.Written April 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Manzer DPhoenix, AZ2 contributionsThis a historical Masjid every Muslim should visit. The entrance hall is adorned by pillars and arches, inscribed tablets of the ten commandment and a pair of lions. A large adornment facing Herzel St., combines drawings of Elijah the Prophet, signs of the Twelve Tribes of Israel and a seven stemmed candelabra.Written June 2, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
