We went ice skating at the Canada Center in Kiryat Shmonai. As a first time experience for our Israeli born grandchildren, ice skating in such hot weather (36 C) was like finding an oasis in the desert. The children enjoyed themselves very much.
However all of this was spoiled by the poorly trained staff (clearly a management issue), the 1980’s furnishings, and the smell of fungus.
The entrance fee was high enough that there should have been sufficient funds to deal with these issues.
This is an easy fix with the right management.

I’m so impressed with this venue. One of the founders/owners (Gilad Israel) gave us a lesson on how to climb the walls. He took his time with us and we all felt totally comfortable that we could do it after his lesson. Everyone had a blast. Our group ranged in age from 33-70. We all can’t wait to do it again the next time we are in Israel.
PS we asked him if there was a good place to eat lunch and he recommended an awesome restaurant (Nadiv Kinuchim). Thanks Gilad!

We visited Israel for a holiday and found this great shooting range.
Omer our instructor was super professional and patience with all family members from the age of 10 to 70.
Omer made us all feel very comfortable and we had a great time.
We will definitely come again on our next visit to Israel.

Wide areas for picnicking, refreshing pools and these 3 sites quite close one to the other, so pick the one which is the closest (still I do prefer Ma'yan Harod)

Same as the other 2: try to avoid the weekends or the Jewish Feasts as the places then are absolutely overcrowded and then it is loud music, not always your style, correction, NEVER your style, and barbecues (or mangals) and shouting and pushing, and...well you got the picture.

we went with a large family with kids and adults in almost every age-group. (2-66)
it is most fun for teenagers + but my nine year old also had a good time, for smaller kids there is a play ground where they can run around, but nothing special. there are various climbing facilities, a bungy jump (not really a bungy, since you don't go up-and-down but only down). it's worth to buy the all-included ticket.
it's a bit pricy and you can only stay for three hours, but time-wise that's more than enough, and then you can continue to the old city of Acco/Acre which is great.

It is possible that children under 3 yo will enjoy this place, generally it is quite borrowing, some animals for petting.

We came up north to celebrate my husband's birthday and had a great family workshop with Ziva! Ziva was very welcoming gave us lot's of options to choose from. Our 5 year old daughter choose to make a mobile and Ziva gave her instructions but let her do the work herself which was awesome! My husband made some pretty dishes on the potter's wheel and I made a nice door sign, all with guidance from Ziva. What I loved about this experience was that Zive really let us be creative and experience the process ourselves. She also had some old Israeli music playing in the background which really added to the experience.
This is a great family activity!! I highly recommend a visit!!

The puzzles were very enjoyable for the whole family (less suitable for small children, but we had a 4-year-old boy with us who was not bored at all) The room is also accessible in English and is highly recommended if you are traveling in the area

A great experience. You see the holy places from above and in a different angle. Very hospitable welcome, good prices. Very suitable for people who cannot physically see those sites or anyone who would like to experience them in a different way

The website said up to 6 people, but they were willing to allow 7, our seventh did not end up showing and it would have been a little crowded.
This escape room is neat in that you have three rooms to escape from.
I was worried as it is located in a kibbutz and was not sure what it would be something thrown together, but it was REALLY COOL and modern and had interesting puzzles and locks to solve.Make sure to book ahead of time.
The location was also very convenient if coming from either ramot or Tiberias. Highly recommend.

My mother found Rabbi Kopel through revies on TripAdvisor. Rabbi Kopel was amazing. Safed has lots of stairs, hills and walking. Rabbi Kopel gave my mother 87-year-old mother and I a special private tour which was less steps and less walking.

I had been on a tour of Safed years ago and I figured I would not learn anything new. Boy was I wrong. Both my mother an I learned a lot.

What was amazing is that my mother and I both really liked the tour even though our interests and understanding are very different since my mother is not observant and had very little Jewish education and I have been learning for many years.

As four adults visiting Amirim, we decided to try something out of our comfort zone. None of us had done any art projects since Junior High. Out instructor Lina, told us we would decorate tote bags and though we initially panicked at the thought of having to create a design, the end results were terrific and we were all so proud of our creations. It was a lot of fun and taught us that you don't need to be an artist to enjoy the activity.
