- Michael TSalt Lake City, UT41 contributionsThis refuge is free to explore. No admission fee. I've visited this refuge in every season and it is a great place year round to get away from everything and enjoy being in nature. There's an easy out and back trail that begins right near the entrance sign. The loop road can be driven in your vehicle or you can get out and walk it. I've seen snakes, turtles, birds, moose, and otters along the loop road.Written November 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - pers0nalviewJoseph, OR1,568 contributionsI do like the smaller casino and a good selection of slots. I was a little disappointed this time that I got almost no play. I went through the money I came with quickly as I could not get bonuses or payback. I brought enough it could easily last two days but it didn't. I guess they have had to tighten them up due to the expensive economy. I will try again sometime. I did try most of my play without the players card to see if it helped but it didn't.Written January 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Linda Endow HBonners Ferry, ID25 contributionsMy husband and I attended the annual Boundary County Historical Society fundraising dinner, and every time I visit the BC Museum, I am AMAZED at the improvements! Volunteers have worked diligently to collect and display artifacts pertaining to the history of Boundary County, and it is fascenating! I would highly recommend visitor to the area (especially those with children), to put the museum at the top of their MUST-SEE list!Written November 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carla lSilverdale, WA37 contributionsA little something for everyone. We make a day when visiting in Rathdrum to go to 3 mile. Always find a goody. Very friendly helpful people. He has started an online auction that you might want to check out too. I have not looked at it, I have seen some of the stuff that are for the auction though.Written June 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pam WCrescent City, California, United States105 contributionsWhat a hidden gem in Bonners Ferry! This cozy wine bar was just the right spot to relax and drink some great wine. Lillian was a great host, very knowledgeable about the variety of wines offered to both drink and purchase. We enjoyed celebrating our birthdays there. We will be back! Be sure and stop in when you are visiting the area!Written October 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ben BCalgary, Canada14,382 contributionsWe don't have a lot of great bookstores where we come from. The one that sells used books is sometimes difficult to manage, and it is in the basement of building. This gorgeous little store, on the other hand, is located in Bonners Ferry's cute historic downtown, just a few steps via a pedestrian underpass from the Casino. The subjects they use here make a lot of sense, and all the books have been dusted and cleaned. They do sell a carefully curated selection of new books, but we were utterly taken in by their amazing selection of books on the Arctic and the north. Lots and lots and lots of other great reads to be had. And very inexpensive buying used, compared to buying new. The staff are the most knowledgeable we've come across in a long time. Next time we're driving through, we'll stop again and get a few more excellent reads.Written November 19, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
