This was a great experience, we walked all the way to the falls and saw bears jumping across the rocks where the waterfall is. I recommend you bring good tennis shoes/boots because at some points you are walking uphill to reach the wooden deck to see the falls. It is breathtaking and worth the hike up.

Amazingly beautiful. Still improving on the castle but beautiful all the same. Could be adding a gift shop and other things as time progresses

$17 for a short, scenic on the slow way up, thrilling ride. They have a really nice setup there and it’s a must do while in Helen, GA. Follow the stairs up off of Main St. right before you get to the bridge if you’re coming into town.

Beautiful Falls. 2 miles roundtrip. Wide path, good for dogs and kids. Steps at beginning and end are not for the mobility impaired.

In October, there was not a lot of water but the views of the River from the Main Street bridge and path east adjacent to the reiver offered attractive photo opportunities

We went for the thanksgiving buffet since we didn't feel like cooking at home. We knew it would be busy as other places around the area weren't even open on that day. It was definitely packed when we got there but didn't have to wait longer than 20 minutes which wasn't bad considering the fact the food was ready and hot right when we sat down. The staff was phenomenal! They greeted us with a smile and to think they were there, away from their families on Thanksgiving . The buffet was huge! So many great choices to choose from, plus we had a table by the window which had an amazing view!

Views were great. Many campsites on the water. None were being used. Most definitely primitive camping but you don't have to worry about bringing in water. You can always boil it if you don't trust the rapid moving crystal clear water for drinking. The trail is for people with good footing & good sturdy shoes. Not for wheelchair, walkers, or unsteady individuals. WILL get slippery and questionable if raining. Don't expect stairs, railings or cement/blacktop path. It's a wonderful & enjoyable walk just be aware. LOTS of tree stumps and roots. Approx 6.5 miles round trip. LOVED it!

Per AllTrails, this hike is the #1 hike in the State of Georgia. At 4.1 miles round trip and 1,453 vertical feet is it a great hike with just enough elevation in just enough distance. While the nearly the entire hike is through a thick Georgia deciduous forest, one side of the top has a sheer granite wall that provides incredible views to the west over the valley below. For all these reasons, this is an incredible hike. I will say there are a number of camps in the area so the trail can be quite busy. However, it can equally clear out as it did before I returned, hiking the entire way down by myself and having an incredible experience with a number of deer on the return.

If you are in the north Georgia mountains, this is a great hike that I highly recommend. The distance and elevation are relatively low and the rewarding view for the effort is incredible. There is a reason this is the best hike in Georgia.

Beautiful, small, quiet state park with a few cottages available. The cottages fit the rustic environment perfectly and are exceptionally comfortable, well-appointed with everything you need to enjoy your stay, and immaculately clean and well-maintained. We have stayed there 2 times and will return to this peaceful retreat.

Gorgeous park, amazing views, and lovely gardens. The park is in the center of town and a good place to run off steam and enjoy some open area. There are many paths and not necessary and map that I found, but it was beautiful. Bathrooms are nearby.

With three floors to peruse this is an antique lovers paradise. I found exactly what I was looking for at the exact price I budgeted. I spent 3 hours here looking and could've happily spent more time just looking at all the items they display for sale.
