One of favorite spots to stop between Savannah and Atlanta is the Dublin Visitors Center. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! There is a dog run/park if you are traveling with four-legged family members. Spotlessly clean restrooms are also available. In addition to the various travel brochures, maps, etc., there is also wonderful locally produced products and Dublin-themed shirts and gifts!

Don’t miss this gem as you travel through central Georgia!

We went to a Gene Watson concert here. The theater was very nice, the grounds were pretty, and parking was convenient. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Lovely gem! I did not know MLK first spoke here. There is a nice dedication and I enjoyed it. Took lots of pictures, you can even hear the speech.

This Wildlife Management Area was created by Ducks Unlimited in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. Entry required a valid hunting license or a day visit pass. We visited on a Thursday in late April. It was Spring Gobbler season, but hunting is allowed only on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. We drove until we came to closed gates on the two main roads. There was no one else around. We had access to a catwalk leading to a overview of a duck pond with many wood duck houses and also to the boat ramp on the small lake. There was a variety of flowers blooming, lush vines, spring green trees, and occasionally poison ivy. Most of the poison ivy was growing up trees near the boat ramp. There are two trails that are handicap accessible.
