Someone said this might be the number 1 attraction in Blue Ridge so we decided to stop in on our way out of town. Wow! much larger than we expected and the amount of baked goods, produce, wine and cider, etc....we should have stopped here at the beginning of our stay and stocked up.

Went to see the swinging bridge today with my five kiddos (17, 13, 8, 3, and 2) and it was amazing. For those worried about the drive up the road to the limited parking area, DON'T. We drove our 15-passenger Ford Transit 350. Road comfortably fit us and many areas where two vehicles can pass. There's also many areas you could turn around if you really wanted too. Once you drive until the road ends, is a short hike to the bridge and beyond. Beyond the bridge are picture spots, a very flat area to hop into the river and even camp if you wanted too. Our 8 year old has a wheelchair so had her in a backpack on our backs. The two babies easily made the walk holding hands.

Morganton Point Campground is incredible. I couldn't find a review specifically for the campground but we LOVED our stay here. Gorgeously treed, many sites on the lake. it is a recreation.gov site with water and electric. There is a dump station on site. We did a 3 month RV trip out West and this was our last stop before making it back to our home in Crystal River, Fl. I did not want to leave this campground and we will be back. Location was great to get to Blue Ridge and surrounding towns. We had Site 7, Loop LL. We considered it the best but there are a few others that are also on the lake. Can't wait to go back.

This hike is about a mile. There are tree roots, and some rocks on the trail. Once you reach the falls you will be in awe at the beauty. Not difficult just be alert.

Didn’t look for this place, it just happened to be in the area.
It was nice. Crowded on the covered deck as the weather hasn’t been nice. Games and wines and a great local musician.
    We enjoyed a “Grizzly” flight.
It was a good place to get away for a bit.

I drove from home to Ellijay and along the Forest Service Road that takes you up to the Springer Mountain Trail Head. It is an enjoyable ride.

Great little brewery in Blue Ridge. We stopped by to try a beer and ended up having to try two. The Dark Lager (Schawzbier) was probably the best I have ever had. Really nice people too.

The parking was limited and almost full. U the time we got there the morning of our visit. The trail is fairly easy but narrow and treacherous in areas due to to tree roots. Nice falls and a good experience

We visited The Art Center in the old court house during the folk art exhibit, which we enjoyed very much. My husband and I appreciated that masks were required, and they had masks and sanitizer available for those who did not have their own. As it turned out, we were the only ones there during our visit, so it was safe, quiet, and very enjoyable!

The old court house makes for a unique setting, and they made good use of the space there for their exhibits.

Although there is no fee, a $2 donation per person is recommended. Please support the arts!
