Interesting small museum incorporating shop, film in English and Dutch explaining the history of the windmill and a windmill itself.
The windmill can be fully visited : ( traditional) living quarters as well as the mills hardware all the way to the top.

The “Victorie” exhibition of the famous battle of Alkmaar was the most fascinating history exhibit I think I’ve ever seen.
The museum is very interesting especially if you want to learn about the nearby Bergen school of art or about the history of the city of Alkmaar.

Then a demonstration auction that all can take part in – expertly and inclusively managed in Dutch, German and English.
It was a very interesting museum, very nice live action were you can actually buy fruit and vegetables like they did in the old days (but you can pin for your purchase :-) ).

The engines are lovingly cared for by train enthusiasts, and are beautifully polished and shiny.
Took "Train #6" which was a line of mostly wooden carriages in excellent condition, with open viewing platforms on the end of each married-couple/ set of cars.
