This little gem of a history museum gives you the background of how the area was developed and, even more interesting to me, how the multi-cultural society provided healthcare to it's residents.
It is a delightful small regional museum that depicts the colorful history of Tampa was Ybor City - it's Spanish, Cuban, and Italian immigrant history.

Mostly targeted on the locals and memberships, I found the ticket desk to be very small when compared to similar museums in Cincinnati or Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN. (A lot of wait time.)

The cost is minimal for the tour which begins with a walking tour of the museum followed by a tour of a Casita, and ends with a documentary that sheds more light on the history of this marvelous city.
So while the house is a compact 2 bedroom/4 room layout, it brings to life how people lived back in the day and is a recommended visit in conjunction with the main Ybor history museum next door.
