Have been there more than once, both as a solo & with a friend. Both times were specifically for the special exhibits that were also there. My only issue with the museum is that the permanent collection stays static. If you are not a huge Dali fan, seeing the same thing each time gets boring. I like his works, just not enough to want to stare at & study them in depth while my companion is oooing & aaahhhing.

This place is wonderful. It is a lush garden in the concrete jungle. The paths do need better signs to provide direction. All in all it was a cool spot to send some time on a hot fall day.

An amazing collection of glass sculptures by Chihuly, representing various phases of his work. Thoroughly enjoyable! The video at the entrance to the collection was very good, as was the self-guided tour on our phones. Note: we were there on a Tuesday and so missed the opportunity to see a glass blowing demo, which would have been cool.

St Pete has a lot to offer with multitudes of restaurants and shops as well as museums and the waterfront.
Walking is easy and feels very safe. Most everything has high quality appearance.

My wife and I have been involved with Art Glass for 20+ years. The Duncan McClellan gallery is by far the best we have ever experienced! The variety, quality, and amount of art displayed is exceptional. Duncan and his wife are gracious people and generous with their time and knowledge. We spent a very enjoyable two hours and are anxious to return. Do not let the location of the gallery deterrer you.

Be sure you have enough time to enjoy this huge collection of American art. Most of the art is traditional painting and sculpture. It depicts the American west, Native Americans and frontier cowboy life. The museum itself is beautifully designed and inviting.

Sawgrass Lake Park is a beautiful park. A nice boardwalk where at the end of it, you can look for allegators in the lake and beautiful birds in the trees.

This was a nicely curated museum offering lots of information, interesting artifacts, as well as art to shape your experience. It's a smaller museum, so I would say you could spend about an hour, maybe 2 tops, here if you read through each exhibit. The railroad car is really a haunting sight to see in the best way possible; it's such a strong and important presence, and is an incredible piece of history for this museum to have. There is a little prayer room that mimics the appearance of the Western Wall in Jerusalem, allowing you to even write down a message or a prayer and place it in the cracks of the tiles. They also offer an interactive digital experience where you can ask questions to a holocaust survivor who's testimony is pre-recorded, and some type of software essentially connects your question to a point in the survivor's story. I didn't personally do it, I was by myself and I felt a little awkward engaging in it with other people around, but I was interested to try it. Overall, this was a great museum and is definitely an important epicenter for holocaust remembrance.

My mother and I visited this beautiful nature preserve and were lucky enough to have a guided tram tour around the entire park. They offer 2 tours per day. Thank you to all of the friendly staff and volunteers and to our tour guide, Dave. Meeting "Honey the Bunny" in the welcome center was a real treat, too. She is so beautiful and friendly. The volunteers also fed the owls, other birds of prey and vultures while we were there, which was exciting and educational.
We enjoyed our morning at Boyd Hill very much and would recommend this to anyone visiting the St. Petersburg area.

This is really the perfect park for a picnic, a bike ride, a walk, or just afternoon and nightly stroll. I absolutely loved this spot and would recommend to anyone near downtown Saint Pete. Some tremendous views of the bay, marine life, and palm trees. They also had pop up shops and music festival when I visited. Too bad I was staying in Tampa or I would have me a return trip!

We spent a free morning walking through this park. Went to the visitor's center and especially liked the display about the 40' long native american canoe that was found on the property.

This was our first visit here, though we've visited St. Pete before. We were not disappointed! As a retired female professional photographer I was thrilled to see such a diverse collection of so many women who inspired my work over the years. The exhibit included the works of those going back to the early years of photography, which I've only seen previously at the Smithsonian. Kudos to the brilliant curator who pulled this exhibit together!
