- Bean-BugglesPlumsteadville, PA727 contributionsReally nice National Monument to visit. There is a fee to enter per person (look up on the NPS website) and there is a Jr. Ranger program here for those collecting badges for their littles. Parking is on site, however, many tourists use it to park when visiting St. Augustine so it will fill up very quickly during peak seasons, so arrive early in the morning if visiting during that time period. Lots of good signage all over the park. View is beautiful from the top. Gift shop and restrooms on site.Written January 20, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Al MakynenDuluth, MN366 contributionsWe stayed on the beach at a bed and breakfast. A very short walk over the dunes (which are growing in width and height due to conservation efforts). There is a driving lane for vehicles (you need four-wheel drive), which for us is a huge distraction from the natural beauty. The ruts are unsightly - not to mention parked vehicles. However, this does give greater access for more people to enjoy the beach. So if you want to drive out onto the beach - this area is for you. Do check the tides. High tide (near the time of a full moon) puts most of the beach - right up to the driving lane under water.Written November 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - chicag0traveler_11Saint Louis, MO96 contributionsA pedestrian walkway with some cool boutiques and nice tourist souvenir shops. Most don’t open until 10am during the week. Also, several great restaurants that you can pop in for a quick bite through the day.Written December 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NomadLakewood Ranch, FL313 contributionsThis historically significant basilica is the oldest parish in the U.S. The interior is spectacular and moving. The atmosphere exudes a sense of peace, tranquility and timeless beauty. A small gift shop of religious items is located on the premises.Written November 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zane Wylie The Skull Carving GuySt. Augustine, FL207 contributionsWhere history’s charm is a real-life illusion!
With cells and gallows and tales so grand,
You’ll feel like you’ve traveled to a far-off land.
The guides spin stories with flair and with fun,
Of outlaws and legends, and what’s to be done.
The old-timey jail’s got its quirks and its cheer,
A whimsical trip you’ll want to reappear!
Peek through the bars and imagine the scene,
Of the wildest old tales you’ve ever seen.
In St. Augustine’s heart, where the past does play,
The Old Jail Museum will brighten your day!
So grab your hat and come take a stroll,
Through this historic site that’s good for the soul.
With laughter and history both in full view,
The Old Jail Museum’s the spot for you!Written August 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Darlene M20 contributionsThis was our 3rd time to St. Augustine. We love the old town with all the history. We went during Thanksgiving and met up with other family members. The Night of Lights was amazing; it was absolutely beautiful!!! The down side is that it was extremely busy. The stores, restaurants, and the fort were hard to get into because of the amount of people. We will definitely go again, but maybe at a later date when it isn't as busy.Written December 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were very impressed by the displays on the history of the area and the artifacts from archeological digs done in the 1930's. - pageporterLong Island, NY712 contributionsThere is nothing tiny about their martinis!
Fun place with a huge selection of reasonably priced, regular size martinis. The outside tables are available just to have cocktails and good for people watching.

- Lynne LMiddletown, DE4 contributionsThis was our first trip to Spanish Main Antiques, after it was recommended by another shop owner. The owner, Marc, was there along with another gentleman and both were incredibly knowledgeable about everything in the shop. We were searching for an Atocha coin and they were able to guide and educate us on all aspects and resources about the coins and other coins in the marketplace. We are thrilled that we were able to find something with a great story. If you are a "treasure junkie", just starting in the salvage treasure world or just love to see all things treasure, Spanish Main Antiques is definitely the place to go! Be prepared for a great educational experience and bring your questions!Written February 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Laura GChicago, IL116 contributionsLocated in an unassuming building, this is a cute gem of a place. My massage with Angie was wonderful - I recommend the hot stones. Everyone was nice and friendly. We were intrigued by the salt caves and float therapy but elected the massage instead and were happy.Written May 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
