We had brunch on Sat and then did the free tour after. Food and service were fantastic! Only waited a couple minutes to be seated. Had a bloody mary and the broken-yolk eggwich and it was delicious. The free tour was great, tasted 5 mixed cocktails during the tour and then purchased something from the gift shop after. We loved it so much we went back on Sun for brunch again. Had a mimosa and the skillet fried chicken and hoecakes, another fabulous pick! The atmosphere here is great, you must check it out!

We drove on the A1A from Ormond beach to Saint Augustine. It’s a beautiful ride. It took us about an hour and a half, stopping at various places.

Many blocks of small unique shops and boutiques. Wide variety of casual restaurants and pubs along with snack and goodie shops. Be sure to read the historical plaques on the well restored and repurposed buildings. A must see in St Augustine.

This was the most unique cathedral we had ever seen! The colors popped off the walls and the history of this church is amazing. This place is a must see and it is free to go in.

This small fortification, designed to protect the river passage to St. Augustine is another fine example of Florida's Spanish history. You have to travel by a FREE, yes free, ferry boat to the fort itself. Schedules vary so it's best to plan ahead. But you can view the fort in the distance from the visitor center area. There are also a few hiking trails and beach access at the park.

We did not go into the church, but we walked the entire grounds which are perfectly manicured. The walk to the cross is breathtaking along with all the figures along the way. This is a perfect escape from bustling downtown.

The best part of visiting the San Sebastian Winery is the rooftop lounge in my opinion. The wine tour is interesting, but the wine is not impressive. The rooftop, however, is great. While only open Thursday through Sunday, it is one of the most enjoyable places to be in St. Augustine. Parking is plentiful, unlike many other places in town. The food is very good, service friendly and they frequently have live music. I am a local person and come here frequently. I love their grilled cheese sandwich--the best ever!

Love the free and positive environment, can never get bored of touring, shopping, and eating. Hotels are within distance of the town and shops, love it here.

We were visiting St. Augustine and told that Vilano Beach was the best in the area so we headed over to check it out. It’s a beautiful beach, Hurricane Ian had blown through a few weeks prior and destroyed some of the boardwalks but the beach was lovely!

Really need to take the time to understand the history of this church. We were on a tour and our guide was great to cover the past of the church.

Take a few minutes away from the popsicles and Panama hats of St. George Street to learn the moving history of the early Greek settlers of this area.

Tony and I went to St Augustine Florida while on Vacay 2022. Tony had never been here before, but I have been to St Augustine several times in the past with my kids and other family members.
We walked down to the visitors center from our hotel.
The visitors center is free to enjoy. There are restrooms, gift shop, informational brochures and museum displays.
It's very nice. Very clean and lovely, absolutely lovely!!!

This outlet offered numerous stores and was fun to walk through and shop. We went on Black Friday so parking was a nightmare, but I’m sure on an average day it wouldn’t be too bad.

After reading other reviews, I was expecting loads of local historic photos showing how the town was built and how it's changed. There were a few, but it's mostly an art museum housing part of a donated collection. LOVELY at any rate! AND! it was the only FREE thing we saw while in St Augustine!
