Everyone was nice and friendly. I would say, don’t be fooled by the outside, as it is a plain-appearing house. The staff is friendly and the massages were excellent. No huge bells and whistles, but the quality of the massages is what you are getting here. I had Jason. He was very likeable and very knowledgeable about the science behind reflexology. He responded to my reactions of pain/pleasure so I was not uncomfortable, but was getting a good workout on the crystals in my feet. Today she did a fabulous facial, as always and I feel rejuvenated and hydrated, like I turned the clock back on my face! - Sue F2 contributionsWe were on vacation in St. Augustine for a month and wanted to find a gym where we could work out. Running on the beach is great, but it gets so hot in FL that you need a place to work out indoors.
You can have one-to-one sessions, join a group class, swim laps in the pool, or schedule a wet or dry sauna. There is so much more to do here I’ve only scratched the surface. I researched massage spas online, and Oceanvibes had few reviews on Trip Advisor. They were all good. I prefer to support small businesses, so I booked our massages. I didn't know what to expect, as I've never had a couples massage experience. The spa is tucked away, off a main street, with easy parking. The spa is decorated nicely, is very clean and has a very calming ambiance. Our massages were tailored to our preferences, and we really enjoyed them. - Alicia SSt. Augustine, FL14 contributionsWhat a wonderful place. As soon as I walked in I was warm welcomed with a big smile by Darcey and her colleague. What a lovely group of young ladies. Very professional, caring and knowledgeable.
I was happily surprised since I am only a month old STA resident, that I found my Spa! Given I had visited a previous spa and was left disappointed and annoyed.
Thank you Darcey for such a thorough and knowledgeable consultation. You gave me information no one has done before. And never once did I feel pressured to do any treatment.
That's a big plus in my book. I shall be seeing you very soon!

I was trying to plan an afternoon they would remember. We all did facials, massages (most hot stone) and pedicures. When we arrived Norma had some sandwiches and fruit for us and was very hospitable. The services were all fantastic. My personal facial was done by Daniella and it was relaxing and beneficial. Be careful of add on costs during this service, one of my family members racked up a $59 charge without being told the waxing would cost extra and wasn't asked if this was a service she wanted. None of us had had facials before so we didn't know what to expect. The staff all knew this. Our massages were sublime. I've had multiple hot stone massages and this one was top notch. Next I had a pedicure which was really nice, although not the best I've had. My entire family did agree that it was straining however, because the chair wasn't what we are used to and it felt like you had to hold your weight up or the container with water would spill. Hard to explain other than the water container isn't connected to the chair, and the chair isn't a massage chair.
Here's why this place gets four stars instead of 5 (I'd say more like 3.5). Emotionally, we were relaxed and having a blast and then the sales pitch would start for each person after their facial. Here's what your skin needs, oh I can't just sell you this product you HAVE to buy at least these three, you are beautiful but if you don't start using these products your skin won't hold up at age 50, etc. I'm relaxing and then bombarded with this pitch even after declining a few times. They may be right but it's not the atmosphere I'm going for. My family members bought product, and spent a lot on it, and I'm sure it's great. Norma has a chemist who created it. But we get in the car and my family members are filled with buyers' remorse because they "gave in" to the sales pitch even when at first they said they wouldn't use the product. I was trying to give them an afternoon of relaxation and instead they left feeling defeated and sad because they fell prey to sales tactics (their words). Not what I had in mind for spending so so much money.
All in all the services and staff were awesome. They just saw older women (my nana is 82) as prime sales targets and I've spent a while now trying to cheer them up because of what happened. I myself said no, but had to 3-4 times. Hopefully the products are awesome and the buyer's remorse will subside. There are people who have been there for years and people who are new. Either way, everyone is welcome, and they provide modifications if needed. Stop by and try it out. You won't regret it.
