I love this experience!!! It is the best experience i had in St. AUGUSTINE PERIOD!!! I made a reservation we got there right at 11 am instead of being a little early we arrived right at the time it was supposed to start. They were very kind. Not annoyed or anything very awesome staff. This was so educational the field trips should be to this tour!! The accommodations for the animals was clean and beautiful. I had the best experience. I would love to come back. My daughter had to go to the restroom of course. An amazing team walked us and waited for us while my child waited in line and walked us back through giving us info on the animals we passed. I gotta say these folks love these beautiful creatures and they love these folks. They make you wanna work there!!! My little girl should go to.wprk there!! She asked 1 million questions and the team was so patient. Thank you all for an amazing educational tour!! It was an amazing experience

Our hotel had a coupon bucket with 15% off if you bought tickets in advance online online, so we did. Saved us five bucks! The lighthouse is in excellent condition, really a nice structure. Great gift shop and friendly people and lots of exhibits included in your admission fee for non-climbers.

We stayed on the beach at a bed and breakfast. A very short walk over the dunes (which are growing in width and height due to conservation efforts). There is a driving lane for vehicles (you need four-wheel drive), which for us is a huge distraction from the natural beauty. The ruts are unsightly - not to mention parked vehicles. However, this does give greater access for more people to enjoy the beach. So if you want to drive out onto the beach - this area is for you. Do check the tides. High tide (near the time of a full moon) puts most of the beach - right up to the driving lane under water.

On a chilly day, we headed to the St.Augustine Distillery for their free tasting tour. My favorite was their Florida Mule (1 Part St. Augustine Distillery Florida Cane Vodka, 1 Part St. Augustine Distillery
Florida Mule Mixer, 2 Parts Seltzer). I also liked their rum as well as gin and tonic. Their famous bourbon wasn’t something I enjoyed but my husband happily finished mine. He liked everything! The tour, plant, the barrels, the gift shop and of course the booze didn’t disappoint. And warm welcome was something we truly appreciate.

A pedestrian walkway with some cool boutiques and nice tourist souvenir shops. Most don’t open until 10am during the week. Also, several great restaurants that you can pop in for a quick bite through the day.

Very interesting, well done museum. Love the “pool” area that is now used as a restaurant… & the sauna/shower areas. You could visualize the hotel in use. Definitely recommend.

This historically significant basilica is the oldest parish in the U.S. The interior is spectacular and moving. The atmosphere exudes a sense of peace, tranquility and timeless beauty. A small gift shop of religious items is located on the premises.

    Where history’s charm is a real-life illusion!
With cells and gallows and tales so grand,
    You’ll feel like you’ve traveled to a far-off land.

The guides spin stories with flair and with fun,
Of outlaws and legends, and what’s to be done.
The old-timey jail’s got its quirks and its cheer,
A whimsical trip you’ll want to reappear!

Peek through the bars and imagine the scene,
Of the wildest old tales you’ve ever seen.
In St. Augustine’s heart, where the past does play,
The Old Jail Museum will brighten your day!

So grab your hat and come take a stroll,
Through this historic site that’s good for the soul.
With laughter and history both in full view,
The Old Jail Museum’s the spot for you!

Great place to take the family or as a couple. For a small place it’s packed with history and fun things to look for. The staff was fun to talk to and the gift shop has a lot of great things to buy. They
