One of the highlights of our weekend trip! The self guided tour includes samples (yum!) all the employees we interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable. We tried extra samples in the gift shop, and weren’t pressured into buying. We ended up buying most of our souvenirs here (who needs a t-shirt with a lighthouse on it when there’s exclusive whiskey to be had??) Definitely worth stopping in, especially if you are on the trolley.

What an amazing view and a must TO -DO list item when visiting SAG. Check ahead of time as the lighthouse is under going renovations. The history and lore of Anastasia Island is fun!

Lots of interesting shops, food, "chachkey", and all of the tourist traps. Prices weren't too bad for being a tourist town. One thing that was a bit disappointing was the homeless situation. I know that is a problem nationwide and I have no answers to help, so I'll just leave it at that.

Me and my wife visted here on our one year wedding anniversary, 9 years later we brought our two kids, they enjoyed it a lot, well my 5 year old did, my 2 year just kinda went with the flow (of the stroller) I was very pleased my 4 year old daughter asked me some many questions about the history of the fort. That was a proud Daddy moment.

If you ever go to St. Augustine, make this a stop. It is great to see and learn about something hundreds of years old.

As a biologist and someone that has "pet" snakes and lizards, I always visit zoos and animal parks if one is around when I travel. However when doing so, I try to visit as a father rather than a scientist. This park was fine, lots of gators - maybe even too many. After awhile the different species tend to run together. I would have liked to see a little more non gator species - and especially a few more small mammal species. I did really love seeing all the bird species and how close you could get up to them, especially on the water walkway. We didn't do any of the shows so can't comment on that. The price was around what you normally expect for similar parks. My only frustration came at the photographers that were allowed to set up tripods - they got in the way.

What an interesting place considering it started out as a very expensive hotel, the first with electricity! The architecture is absolutely magnificent, from the fountain to the roof tops.

After reading the mixed reviws, for us as Brits, it was a fascinating untold history (they never described Sir Francis Drake in school as a pirate!) of English, French, Spanish and the new Americas piracy.
Very good displays of authentic items and good detail of the area's piracy history.

We stopped at the reserve during a trip to St Augs. We weren't too sure what to expect, but we're pleasantly surprised at the condition of the animals. They all were beautiful and well cared for. We rode the golf cart as one in our party has mobility issues. That was nice, but the downside was that we then could not hear the tour guide tell us about the animals. Oh well, we still got to see them!

They bring treats for the cats during the tours, which means that they come right up to the front of their enclosure.

The enclosures are small, but the staff tries to provide enrichment activities for them, which I hope helps.

Small and not a ton of produce. Lots of craft vendors, really friendly. Was very hot though. Had to rush through because of the heat.
