Took visitors on a cool windy day. A few shops still under construction from Hurricane IAN last Sept, but most shops were now clean & open. Looked like ALL restaurants were open for business. Always has been and still is a nice place to stop, eat & shop.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Peace River Wildlife Center. It was small, but the staff were warm, friendly and informative. We enjoyed learning about the various species of birds and fowl there as well as seeing the wild birds the center attracts. I would highly recommend this center for all ages, but especially parents with children. There is no mandatory entrance fee, so the visit can be very affordable.

We have taken this tour twice now. Both trips were great. Lots of animals to see and experience. The narrator does a nice job pointing out the points of interest you may have missed on a self drive tour. Overal, take the trip!!

Completely enjoyed my visit to the Military Heritage Museum, the staff is welcoming and very helpful. So much to see and take in, if there is a lecture when you visit I highly recommend it. The flight simulators are a wonderful experience, as is the smokeless firing range, oh the 3D experience is very special and highly recommended.

Love how much this sanctuary cares for these animals that were previously in very sad and unfortunate situations! Its not too expensive and the cost goes to feed and care for the animals anyway so every penny is worth it! Staff is super friendly and they all are volunteers that truly care!

A pleasant walk through the waters and the native fauna of Florida. Small wildlife abounds, but you have to be observant, quiet, and pace yourself to see all that is around you. The Only cost is your gas getting there.

Amazing park situated on the Harbor Walk in Punta Gorda. Pickle ball court, children's playground, and shelter houses. Very beautiful area, right on Charlotte Harbor. Highly recommend.

This is a very beautiful walking or biking path. We ride this several days a week starting from History Park. It has two parts both starting at fisherman’s village. There is 2 1/2 miles along Charlotte Harbor another 1 1/2 miles the other direction through the parks. We often continue our ride to Ponce de leon park and eat lunch on the beach. 13 miles round trip. One of our favorite places in beautiful Punta Gorda.

Had a glorious few hours walking through the gardens and seeing the unique sculptures. The butterfly house is ready to burst with butterflies! So much beauty in the flowers, trees, and bushes—temperature in the 70s with a soft breeze. Perfect for being outside!
Gift shop had nice variety of items and snacks.

We took our son and his wife on the Babcock Ranch Eco tour. Our guide was knowledgeable of the history of the area. We saw wild pugs, cracker cattle, wild turkeys, deer and sandhill cranes. This tour is priced well, and suitable for all ages 4 to 100. This was our second visit bringing family and we all enjoyed it.

Visited the market held in this park last Sunday. The market was relaxed and easy going. No traffic or hustle and bustle to distract from great vendors, live music, and lots of shade to get out of the sun.

With seven of us, including 2 young children, we opted to take the guided tour. We were not disappointed Anna did a great job and was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The tour was highly interactive and we got to see all of the animals up close and in most cases we were able to feed and/or touch the animals. Never at any point was there any concern for safety for ourselves or the animals. Anna did a great job managing the animals and ensuring that the younger kids were safe. I'd recommend anybody visiting the area to visit IguanaLand. Their work in conservation and education are quite admirable. Thanks for a great experience.

Great and informed staff and many interesting exhibit. Worth the time! They also have a number of shows directed at the person who enjoys the idea of military service.
