- BrandyMayeKissimmee, FL155 contributionsWe are here one to two times a week. We are A-Listers. The 4 ☆☆☆☆s are for the theaters. AMC Disney Springs have morphed over the years like Downtown Disney has morphed into Disney Springs. When we lived out of state I would plan our vacation around at least one afternoon at AMC. I loved how big it was & how it still had an old theater feel with modernized deco, & upscale screens, like Dolby, IMAX, & the dine in. I give the dine in experience 0 ☆ Movie Food is already expensive but its a slap in the face & downright BS when it comes out cold, or you get a pizza and its not even cut or sliced, ordered the club salad & had 3 pieces of chicken, & had to basically beg for extra dressing. There was no bacon, & the portion size was minimal. It look like a toddler salad. My daughters ordered the burger and it was cold & had no bacon. And my youngest got the Buffalo nuggets & they were lukewarm. The milkshakes use to be so goooooood with that big oreo cookie or brownie. Now they are smaller & taste like they are some powder & milk. My daughters missed the first part of the movie (screen unseen) & they put the order in when AMC sends the message Order your snacks! With most things its before covid & after covid. And once again another business or corporation that seem to be A1 before seem like they don't care after covid. Everything seems to be an after thought. Small portions, changed recipes, cold food, service in the dumps, & more money out of the consumers pocket!Written July 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steven CSeminole, FL1,105 contributionsMy wife and I caught a movie here during a recent visit to the Orlando area. It is located in the Pointe Orlando shopping complex, which requires you pay for parking. Fortunately, this cinema offers validation for your parking ticket which is good for the entire day so you can check out other areas of the shopping complex after seeing a movie. The employees were all friendly and the theater, while a little dated in areas, appeared to be well-maintained and clean overall. We saw an IMAX version of a film and there were long lines visible in the center of the screen so it was showing some wear. All in all, we enjoyed our visit and we would return to this location again in future.Written June 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steven CSeminole, FL1,105 contributionsMy wife and I were shopping at a nearby outlet mall and decided to catch a movie. I have a Cinemark rewards account but haven't been to one in a while since there are no locations near where I now live. The location is a little tricky to find as it is at the back of a complex with a lot of construction going on around it. There is ample, free, off-street parking, the staff were polite and the concession items we ordered were good. The place was clean and appeared to be fairly well-maintained overall. The only negative we encountered is that the stairs leading to the each of the upper levels in our theater were very steep and difficult to navigate, especially for those that have issues with step in the first place. However, I would recommend this location if you are in the area and want to see a movie without having to pay for parking.Written March 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Karen MOrlando, FL48 contributionsYes we are local, but this is where we go to the movies because we like to eat along with a movie. We usually buy our tickets online and select our seats so that we don't have to wait in line. Park in the orange garage. If we arrive early we have a cocktail. Once we get into the theater we order our food before the movie starts, drinks usually arrive during previews and food shortly afterwards. We love casually eating while we watch the show. Our favorites are the pretzel bites, flatbreads, tacos, and salads. Enjoy!Written June 14, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - monmouthprofToms River, NJ451 contributionsGreat comfortable seats in a huge open theatre. Plenty of self check-in kiosks... Which offer almost impossible to locate credit card scanners, but it was faster than the lines.Written November 20, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Shannon TaylorKnoxville, TN29 contributionsMy boyfriend and I visited here as our first stop in a night out in Downtown Orlando based off some reviews I read online. It was on the second level, wonderful entrance, that led us into a large selection of food to start with before our movie. They had a small eating area with tables for 2 with up to date furniture. Nice menus items. Food was fresh. Popcorn was salty but low quality. Everything was nice, but the movie theater chairs were out of date. Coming from Savannah, Ga the Pooler location movie theater has more up to date and nicer chairs. Very surprised. Other than that, had a wonderful time.Written December 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ramon AOrlando, FL501 contributionsOverall - Nice movie theater, spacious with several large theatres. It typically offers several showings of all of the latest movies, I have never seen it very packed probably because of the cost the locals go elsewhere.
Food - Typical movie theater food (popcorn, nachos, pretzels, chicken fingers, personal pizza) nothing as exotic as I have seen at other theaters that have burgers and samosas. The popcorn and nachos are served quickly from behind the counter but the other hot items come from the "kitchen", there is typically only one person manning the kitchen so be ready to wait for your pretzels or fries. The soft drinks and icee are self-service and there is a limited bar menu, nothing crazy but it will cover the bases.
Service - The ticket agents and food service staff have been nothing but nice every time I have gone to see a movie here.
Location & Ambiance - It has a great location because it is at Universal Citywalk but that may also be the downside, you need to get to Universal and park. The good news is that universal always has abundant parking and parking is free after 6 PM. The ambiance at the movie theater itself is a large pleasant theater you can feel safe in with your family.Written July 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I've been to several movies here and never felt like it was different than most theaters that are approx 20 -25 yrs old. They're also competitively priced for matinee and regular evening hours feature flims.Written May 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gdc701Williston, ND66 contributionsI was visiting the Orlando area and I was looking for an IMAX theater that had fully reclining seat that I've seen in other cities. The seats were normal movie seats and not what I was looking for.
The area has a lot of teen & pre-teen customers! This may not be the best location for a quiet movie. Luckily we went to the late showing of a less popular (for teens that is) type of movie during our visit.
The IMAX experience of it was good!Written November 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
